Thought Alibert was poor and has been in all the games I have seen him. However he is poor for both teams. He did get the Eastmond "no try" right. As soon as the ball went to Gardner all the Saints fans stood up but I didn't bother. It was a forward pass to him.

Thought Saints were the better team for 60 of the 80 mins today. Your problem was that Brett Hodgson didn't sem to be himself on attack and having Brough and Robbo on will give you problems as both want to run the show.

I must be in a minority cos I didn't think there was much between the teams. We spent more time in their half in attack but failed to break down the defence. We was 12-6 down and scored a try that was called back for a forward pass which would have been ok if wearing a white shirt was anything to go by yesterday. That would have made it a level game with everything to play for. As it happened Saints scored within minutes of this and effectively killed off the contest. So although it sounds bitter I think the ref had a say in the outcome. Rant over, i'll have another Worthington's

Does anyone remember when Saints passed from the PTB and they knocked on only for Halibut to say we'd got a hand to it even though our marker never made an attempt at it? The whole stand went mental!!!

We created enough chances in the first half to win the game but on the day the last pass tended to go to ground. We may not been at the top of our game yesterday but i think we'll play worse than that this season and win games. To say we've had 8 games so far and only 2 of those could be classed as games we should have won ie Quins and Wakey, i'm quite happy how things are going. We've lost 3 games so far, 2 of which we've lost with Halibut in charge who was dire in both. The other game was Warrington when Ian Smith was in charge who I thought did a fine job.

Maybe i was a bit harsh but we lost it in the middle of the field. saints won the collisions and dominate dta th eruck. they slowed us down a lot better than we did and apart from a purple patch in the first part of the second half we struggle dto control their big men and put them on the back foot.
