Leigh may have been initially hesitant to take a player because you're only allowed 4 a season and if you have 3 from us (Wire) then the player being offered as your last spot might not be the one Millward wants, even if you do initially have injury problems in the position.

Someone asked re training. As far as i'm aware they operate a full time role with the SL club except for when the part time club trains plays. So with the Chp club, plus other sessions with the SL club therefore remaining full time.
Dual Contract is better than the loan system because it means the players can move freely between the two, unlike the old system where once returned, that was it, as Widnes discovered at the back end of last year.
In Australia it tends to be used for Feeder clubs, however by limiting the number here the RFL are nipping that one in the bud...for now...

Said it before but personally McCarthy's the best one of the bunch, and by some distance. You'll be impressed by him I reckon. Mitchells got big pre season praise it would seem but for the future..i'd rather have McCarthy. None will relieve your props issue though.

You're right, they did. Thats why I think maybe the alleged dual contract players or SL club in question might be having second thoughts about sending their players to a club struggling to come up to Championship 1 standard.

They could view it the other way and want to see how they perform under pressure.
