Sometimes you have to be a little conservative and stuff the 'thats how we play the game'. The last 6 to 8 weeks we have watched a team who felt they didn't have to give 100% for more than 40-60 minutes. To be fair they have got away with it. They found this habit to hard to break and I hope the coaches and players take a valuable lesson away from this.

Still, it wasn't a yorkshire team that toppled us. I would hate to be fighting for that fourth spot too.

Best team won, no complaints at all from me. Too many players underperformed and London were superb throughout. Might be a bit of a wake up call at least.

It will refocus the few who may have thought it would be a doddle.

London are certainly no mugs on their own patch and Bradford had to work hard for their result down there last week. Amazing how quickly a league table can change in the space of 24 hours. If it hadn't been so windy at Odsal today I expect you would have lost top spot on points difference already.

Looks like it is all still to play for in the next few weeks, could be a tastey match at Odsal if both teams are still level on points!

I still expect you guys and the Bulls to replace Wakey & Salford at the end of the season. You were actually better than us once you got into gear it just took too long for you to do so, last ten minutes was squeaky-bum time and so far this season I haven't seen us defend that well, I have no nails left at all!

Had a good weekend on the Mayfair travel trip pity about the result but credit to London they were the best team today don't think it helped the team traveling down and playing on the same day they looked tired getting off the bus.

London were the better team & deserved the win, look a different team to the one we played at the start of the season at the LSV, think that's the best Championship opposition we've come up against.
First 20 min we just didn't seem to have a plan, kept passing to players stood still seemingly unsure what to do next. Eventually when Tom Spencer came on and started running at them with the ball we started to get somewhere but by then we were chasing the game against a very good team who'd got too big a lead. We were slowly getting back into it but that lucky charge down try sealed it (lucky bounce but still got to be quick & observant to score them so credit to London) had to try to force it as time was running out which resulted in some errors, understandable really. A few strange decisions though, on such a short pitch why no Fui? One of his trademark 10 m drives in the build up could be the difference between getting over the try line and not. Why when London seemed to be making ground so much easier than us weren't we kicking penalties as far down the field into touch as possible? Especially on such a short pitch, get a penalty & you can be in a real attacking position.
Still well done lads, broken the club record for consecutive wins, real big achievement, in the history books now.

We struggle on tight pitches, we have Bradford Batley Workington away, Hunslet Sheffield Dewsbury Doncaster Fev at Home plus a CC QF. Our problem will be fitting the games in and hitting the 8's fresh as we have 2 midweek games to play in July.

I think we will lose 3 more in finishing second, but hit the 8's strong.
