Hey Chutney chops I moan about the PA system for a professional stadium it's a ruddy disgrace and it's been like that for a few seasons blimey they,ve had enough time to sort it out...
Today's game was awesome I pay money to be entertained WOW was that entertainment brilliant most exciting team I've ever seen at Leigh and I've been watching them home n away since 1963

Well, I in the past have been a "moaner", and am usually a "glass half empty" kind of person, but this is the best side for over 30 years, and I have already elevated Ben Reynolds and Greg Worthington to "hero" status!!!!

Completely agree with chutney on this one, all the crap after the game on Sunday about stewards, people need to get a grip, the team is winning 86-0 and still people find a negative.
Leigh haven't been this good for a long time I think a few fans with short memories need to enjoy the moment for what it is and stop trying to find fault.

Everybody knows what happens with stewards, tannoy etc is nothing to do with LRLFC - didnt you know that??

Do Leigh RLFC not pay for stewards ? If so, then it seriously does affect Leigh RLFC.

Maybe however folk now just expect Derek's generosity to stretch as far as picking up the tab for up to 46 stewards to police the perimiter pitch for friendlies as well. I mean 45/50 x £35 for a friendly must be a drop in the ocean for a club like ours.

Harold unless agreements have changed since I resigned at the end of last season then we only pay a set fee for the opening of each stand (north & west).

The number of Stewards is irrelevant from a cost perspective that would be LSV responsibility unless like I say things have changed.

As for the topic of this thread, best fans in world bar none the Leigh fans and very knowledgeable on the whole I've always found!!!

As for your final sentence, I could not agree more. I have had a most enjoyable time following our great club everywhere and over the years met some truly wonderful people in the process.

Proper family us Leythers, like a bit of a row with each other from time to time but if somebody cuts us we all bleed.

Going to be a great season ahead, cant wait for the Bradford game

I know its not LC fault but it does effect the matchday experience, especially for the youngsters, a good PA man can help whip up the crowd but only if they can hear him.

No need to whip the crowd up, the game will do that - v Bradford will be deafening imo, but not sure about the LSV issuing ear protectors on entry, although the H&S guys in the loo's to ensure everyone washes is a good idea

I was meaning more pre game to get the 100's of kids excited.

It's not just creating atmosphere we need to sort the PA. We've got a fantastic team being tipped for Super League by lots of people, a world class stadium that regally hosts internationals and then a..... b...... h...... gd....... f....... nh........... Just seems a bit of a let-down that with all the hard stuff spot on something as simple & basic that every ground has goes so badly wrong every week for so long.
