We can do it off our own backs rather than Sky's approval. A huge chant of "there's only one Arthur Thomas" just before kick off would be the order of the day, I reckon.

Many sports fans associate a minutes applause with someone who has died so would be more appropriate to thank Arthur with a few decent chants before , during and after the game.

The club are apparently presenting Mr Thomas with a small token of gratitude at the Fax game my suggestion would be to have it at the same time.

The perfect cue, hope it's immediately before kick off, either before the game or at half-time.

Do it on SKY, that way you'll all be able to record it and keep a copy as a memory of your farewell to the pair.

SKY surely won't refuse permission, they'll lap it up - chance of a story to talk about before/during/after the game makes for good TV.

Would it not be wise to let the dust settle and lets see what kind of financial state the club has actually been left in before lauding the achievements of messers Thomas and Rowley???

The club hopefully wont follow suit and go the same way as the other buisness intrests of AT fingers crossed.

Im not having a go and have no inside knowledge of the workings of the club but it seems its a very uncertain future now the Chairman and CEO have walked so why should we be singing and chanting without any knowledge of what they have actually walked away from????

It was said that AT had left the club without any debt, and i believe them.

By who Alan Rowley??? who himself has a track record for leaving a club that is in debt himself and has now left the club.

Im not convinced and it will take more than the odd smoke screen press release to convince me and im sure many others.

We can only go off what we are told leythkeith, till we are told any differant, you are entitled to your opinion though.

Fact is the buisness could have been managed incorrectly and all come home to roost yet.

You just can't believe it can you , a guy who's put thousands of his hard earned cash into our club, and people still have a go, well I believe it, he is a lovely man and I have great respect for him. His business problems didn't appear overnight and he kept on helping out the club he loves right till the end.
I hope no potential investors read this, because if I was one and read comments like that, I know what I'd do!

We have at the moment ATs lapdog Alan Rowleys word that the club is in a sound financially position.

Whos funding the so called deficite that exists from now till the endo of the current season and beyond???

Any take over or investment wont be blighted by opinions on a fans forum but on the financial statistics that the former CEO and Chairman leave behind so lets all hope Alan Rowleys word is correct eh.

I haven't seen the evidence but I believe what I was told.
Without him we would not be in the position we are now.
