Im surprised Leigh are not putting up a fight in regards to this. It would have been a 10k plus gate at Headingley, but will be surprised if there is 5k there !

I think you'll find that it is something to do with the Test Match being played at headingley that weekend. Just out of interest how many 10k+ gates have there been before the semis in the CC during the last 10 years? I suspect that i'd not have to take my socks off to count them. Even at Headingly I'd not have expected the attendance to be muuch more than 7k, since clubs don't include the season tickets for these games.

FFS, if you believe that there any more so called "numpties" of the Fev ilk than there are of Leigh ilk then you have been wearing blinkers for quite a while, get over the sterio types that are no more true for one club than they are another. And just to help you feel free to come look this numpty up in the Featherstone Hotel before the game on Saturday and you can debate anything RL with me (I'll be the one in the Fev shirt mingling with the Leigh fans).

I'm currently in negosiations to see if I can make the Leeds v Leigh game (Charlie "knows" why this might not be possible), and if I go I'll be with the Leigh fans supporting them. As I was last year at a number of games in SL, not because I hate Leeds more than I hate Leigh, but because I would honestly like to see a championship side make the semis and because of the freindships I have made with a number of people on this forum.

Maybe all of us should be trying to look for the positives at other clubs and all working together to address the bad element at every club, rather than trying to score points with our mates over a keyboard?

I've stood with Fev fans a fair few times over the past few seasons,and have made some really good friends , including your good self,I remember you attending a Sheff v Leigh game a couple of seasons ago,for me you are a Fev Fan first and foremost and a RL fan second, a guy I'm proud to call a friend.
Personally I would never label any Fans with such a negative title,as you rightly say every Club has its Fans who cause trouble,I will see you on Saturday, and again the week after at Blackpool.Charlie knows.

The only ground I have been to where I have experienced first hand violence is Post Office Road. I have witnessed an elderly Leigh fan being pushed down a set of steps by a couple of Fev idiots and experienced a very violent situation that resulted in my (very young at the time) daughter being hit by a missile (a scar she still carries some 10 or so years later) from the some Fev idiot who wanted to cause trouble. So don’t preach to me about every club as um.

I have nothing against Fev, but i hated playing at P.O road.

I find the whole Town quite intimidating. Is Gene Hunt still the Sheriff there ?

I'm glad that your experiences of violence has been limited to POR,unfortunately my experiences are more widespread including hilton park and the LSV. However those experience as with others have been few and far between unless you go back to the 70s.

Someone will get knocked out of the cup, win the next and youre at Wembley. Parking and security may be a problem due to the layout of the ground, it is not a good choice for a CCQF on a Friday night. The RFL should have intervened, I have no fears of rogue Fev fans either today or v Leeds

I am more optimistic after seeing the game with the reservation that we aren’t as good as Castleford.

We might not be, but we can give it a good go, and you just never know.

I am more optimistic about the League after watching the defensive frailties of both Toronto and Toulouse.

I thought Widnes where very unlucky on a few decisions. But that Widnes squad would have destroyed Toronto or Toulouse. Leeds just didn't turn up and made Cas look good.
