Do it for your team mates, the club and all the fans out there that have supported you through thick and thin this season. Most of all do it for yourselves. Your own personal pride and reputation is on the line on this one game. You owe this game to everyone involved with Leigh Centurions. Do not let them down in this vital game that could change the history of this great club. Think of only winning and have a positive attitude. Play this game as if it were your last!

i put all the clubs achievements over the existance of leigh rugby league on the wall and do a murphy talk and say to them if all those club records and titles and achievements dont mean anything then you dont deserve the shirt but if they do and you want to stay at the club and wear the shirt out there today with pride,get out there and show the club and the fans what lrlfc mean to you n go and batter haven

Not too sure that the Leigh shirt would mean anything to many of the players really. No disrespect to your club as I am talking about players in general at any club they are nearly all journeymen now. Long gone are the days when lads wanted only to play for their "hometown club" I talk to ex-players of ours who signed for our club for life now in our League its 1 yr 2 if your lucky.They are not at a club long enough to feel too much of an affinity to it`s fans before they are moving elsewhere.You do have a few Leigh lads in your squad but really the thing that motivates them the most surely has to be money doesn`t it?
