Serious question - do Genesis pay the same rent as us and if so how can they afford it on 300 crowds?

I was given a name the other week and a figure of how much he's willing to invest and tbh if it's true the club will be playing at a much higher level with in a few years.

Great signing for the club i remeber that Manchester untited tryed to sign him before he went to Crystal Palace, if it wasn't for the bike accident he'd have gone on to become an England regular

I said if they got the right people in charge it could work.

If you ask me the LSV were the reason they got relegated last season anyway because they held the previous owner to ransom for home games at the beginning and he decided he couldn't afford the hassle.

They had a pretty competitive team at the beginning of the season. If only the new investment had come a little earlier.

Good luck to them for next season, I'm sure the crowds will swell with signings like that

Well I might even go myself cos to be honest I'm well p!$$€d off with the state of RL. At least in football ambition hasn't been taken away from clubs in lower divisions.

Still waiting for season ticket prices, but match day entrance is generally £6-£8 at this level.

Thats like Leigh RLFC in 5 years time bragging that they have the best crowds in the RL Conference League.Halifax Town were not long ago in the Football League, so they should have a decent fan base

its a great signing or you though should be a good contest when the sides meet.

i expect FC Halifax town to get in the play offs at least this season.

I'm avoiding making any rash predictions for next season, but I'd like to think we'll be there or thereabouts, given a bit of stability and home advantage in more than a handful of games.

I predict you'll have home advantage in at least half of your league games

we were yep but we did form a team from scratch 2 weeks before the season and hardly any of the team that started the season finished it with us so would expect with a solid pre season we can do well this season.

It'll be nice to watch a team with very little expectations.

Thr trouble is with watching the rugby we're always expected to be a good side and we haven't been anywhere near good since the season Tony Benson was in charge.

Its good to hear that Genesis seem to have a good financial backing now to kick on. The new stadium was supposed to be their kickstart to the future of the club just like the Centurions. They suffered big time being in limbo between stadiums and are lucky to be still around and its great news for the town that they will try to make a good go of it.
