Apart from the 'for nowt' bit as all it does is devalue the 'product', just as a certain neighbouring Premier League football club are discovering.

That would be great for me, but I don't agree the club should do it.
I do think it would attract a few 'undesirables' and I also think the club needs to make some money somewhere.
I think the 12 year age limit is about right because I think if you've 'got them' at that age they and their parents will be willing to spend money to watch as they get older.

Obviously there are two sides to the argument though, and one of the reasons I don't go to games as much as I used to is that I just can't afford to bring the kids with me.

i assumed when he said 'NOWT' he meant pocket change, as we already discussed in the meeting last week we should send them to schools and give them an incentive.

i was quite happy about the quid a kid until i saw the age range. Most under 12 would be ready for bed but hopefully the parents/grandparent/aunts and uncles support it well.

I went to buy my tickets this lunchtime and asked for an adult and a sixteen year old, because I never know what to ask for, and the kid was a quid

Me too I have to scrimp and save every week to get by on my fixed income but never say anything.
