the club havent asked for or been given any LISA money since all this has been going on, LISA were up to date wwith money they had promised for players contracts, so we have a fair bit in our coffers at the moment, quite a lot actually, was hoping we could sponser 4 players maybe next season.

Neil we need all pull together and save the club, who up for a massive campaign Leigh Town Hall Square Saturday, all around town, get as many people to chuck at least a pound in for their town s rugby team, bet we,d get a lot.
Give them forms to join LISA we need that 1000 members that would give us enough to fund the club, with sponsers etc.

Just the other day i aked are LISA still contributing to the players wages the answer came back,yes LISAs contrubutions are up to date now im reading they payed nothing at all,what the hell is going on?.

What are you on about we agreed a monthly figure to pay and we have paid that figure, obviously since then more has been raised , ie the poker money, coach money, donations of over 2500 to LISA alone. They need money to offer contracts for next season. The only months the players werent paid for were Sept and October.

Right now we owe £40k to the tax man, a figure that if not paid under an agreed plan will finish us off.

Yet despite the above our leaders didn't stress this amount needed raising and no urgency was put on it...... Add to this LISA is sat on a large bank account all amount to a crazy situation whereby we could fold over £40k but the clubs supporters group has a healthy bank account...

I've paid my LISA bill until the end of 2012, I asked last week would any of the other 300 members do the same to help settle existing bills. I got shot to pieces!!!

I am waiting for the club to ask for money and detail debts, who to, amounts and due dates.
Fans are in LISA for the benefit of their club, players, tax bills or jock straps - whatever is in the best interests of their club.

FOR ME THEY CAN HAVE ANYTHING LISA HAVE, HOWEVER SOME WILL SAY IT CANT BE USED TO PAY THE HMRC, ITS FOR PLAYER CONTRACTS ETC, HOWEVER IT ISNT ENOUGH TO COVER THE DEBT, BUT A LARGE FIGURE UP FRONT AND AN SAID AMOUNT MONTHLY MAY BE ACCEPTED. THE CLUB HOWEVER HAVENT ASKED FOR LISA TO HELP, WHICH IS STRANGE IF THE SITUATION IS AS SEVERE AS PEOPLE ARE READING INTO IT.
