Why laugh at Widnes? We have got to two NRC finals on the trot, and won one.What have Leigh done?The last laugh will be at the end of March, when we are selected for a franchise.

I am glad Betts hasn't been lost to the game and is back, now if a few more returned, it would show the game is an attractive proposition again.

As a club, we have no right to laugh at anyone. Our history shows that we are as precarious as anyone in the game and have had our fair share of duff coaches, bad signings and financial problems as well.
I want Widnes to be as competitive as possible so that our victories over them are worth something.

Won it in 2007 and 2009, and the final in 2010.Grand finals 2006 and 2007.So not that bad.So Leigh can not laugh at Widnes.

Honest I thought he'd of got one of the many SL jobs this year (especially Quins with no on keen seemingly). So maybe he is there long term. Leigh tick a box next year and could be onwards and upwards building for SL!

i believe he is here long term but i also believe hes ambitious,so who knows,but i dont believe he'd be interested in a job outside lancs or yorks.

as for Schofield well he's been 'bleating' for the past 5 or so years about not getting a chance well the balls in his court now

Can't see Garry Schofield succeeding. Reckon our league will be very tight this year though, on paper I can't see much between Leigh, Fax, Widnes and Fev.

Well he shouldn't complain about a shortage of cash or talent to work with as on paper he has some of the best players in this division.
