Id have said about 1500 to 1800 on the West stand had about 700 in.

I have managed to persuade my company to donate 2,000 bottles of natural sports and energy drinks to Leigh RL, completely free of charge and without obligation that will help our players to keep up their performance by being fully hydrated. Would that be deemed as helping my club? Now if you still require proof I suggest you contact Mr Bradshaw as I personally spoke to him on this matter this morning.




As I say, there is no doubt you provide an invaluable service to the club for little or no return and it is to your credit but I suppose Fred it would be rather 'foolish'

of me to assume that other people on here do not provide equal or indeed in some cases more assistance than either of us.

I am always gladened to hear that any action by any fan of any club brings some sort of service to thier club, one wishes that more would back thier so called support by a company who employ them or by personal donation of time effort or monies or any combination of the above, and in persuading BARRS (is it not?) you have done well. Its just a pity (and rather crass) you seem to want to use it in a pointless war of words with anpther supporter of the same club, and please remember it was you who 'started this 'war of words' not I. I am always willing to offer an apology if I'm wrong (and technically in this case your 'proof' was after the event but I am willing to overlook that), but I also expect one off others when they are, an old fasioned view I know but an honorable one I'm sure you will agree.

Play the NR cup final as a curtain raiser to the CC Final at Wembley. Theres zero chance of anyone outside of SL getting to the CC Final anyway!

Trouble with that idea is the National League games would have to start at the end of December. It might also prove embarrassing if the commentators mentioned that the winners of the game would not be promoted for winning it.

After a 'trying' week (so far) and a late change of schedule that now means I can make Featherstone tonight, I am simply looking forward to joining my mates later on the coach and watching a fantastic game of RL.

the best part of the NRL cup is the final but typical of the rfl dont take it to anywhere 'exotic' oh no its only the 'lower leagues' they will be satisfied with a day out in Blackpool (nowt against Blackpool mind) whilst we prawn sawny S L brigade can have a weekend out in ....wherever it is this year, rather patronising of the RFL IMO.

It will be a good stadium at Blackpool, if they ever get round to doing the other two sides. (even Halifax has got 3 1/2 sides!) Currently, (or, at least when I was last there) the view from the main stand was akin to beirut!
