They might want to play Ian, but it's not necessarily the best thing for them. If we have the squad to be able to rotate them why not use it.

Positively. Reynolds and Brierley just looked overwhelmed by the challenge. Also, Ridyard's loss is always very significant to the team. I believe he missed 1 game in the 2014 Championship and Leigh lost 1 game all year, that game. Rotation is a must this year.

I agree, let's keep the players fresh...... the downfall is we'll probably lose a few more games than we want to, but if we're in the top 4 who cares..... Also if you chop and change a team drastically each week you can lose continuity, but if we keep it to 3 players a match we should be fine

We have a lot of players over the 30 barrier who should be priorities for rotation.....

Hanson

Hanson can't do a full season in the 2nd row, but we have good depth in the forwards and back row to rotate.....

And once upon a time gone by man use to hunt for food, most prefer going to the supermarket these days.



Times have changed, the game has changed all the players at all clubs had ‘proper jobs’, we are now talking about professional athletes, does your doctor friend put all his horses in every race? For me we need to rotate the squad, not only to keep them hopefully fresh but to also introduce completion for places, no guaranteed spots.

Such is sports science these days that at the highest level they can tell a players fitness levels and when they need a rest.We might not quite have that resource available.
For us,joking of course,it may be a measure on how far one might punch Rangi across the gym when he annoys them.

Glow ,Marwan sometimes does put more than one horse in a race, obviously owning around 100 horses he can't put them all in the same race, but I've known hI'm put up to 5 horses in the same race, especially at Chester by doing this you can sometimes dictate the outcome of the race.Marwan is not the only one to do this ,on Thursday this coming week Nick Henderson has entered 5 horses in the same race.

may be he dropped every ball in training or may be Chase and Riddy are forming a partnership quicker. Mountains out of mole hills yet again!!!

Can see both sides of this (although Charlie you need to lay off the horse analagys!!) haha. As someone who has been playing sport for 23 year I can guarantee there is no such thing as "rested" if you have a injury you can miss a game to recover I'm fine with that. But you play every game as long as you are fit enough to play! Ryan will be smarting about being dropped cause let's face it that's what's happened! He will want to play and let me tell you he won't be happy for Ryan/rangi as you would expect any sports professional not to be! Things are being blown out of proportion Ryan will get he's chance as people pick injurys up, we have built a squad with depth which we have all been asking for and all have our opinions about who should/shouldn't play but we have been asking for these tough choices so can't complain

It does get a bit tiresome when people keep banging on about Brierley, he may be a star in the future but the coach doesn't have to pick him because he is the fans' favourite who they think should play every week. Rugby League is a squad game and some need to appreciate the fact.
