Maybe some of our players arent as good as they and we think they are. At best the recruitment in the off season was GARBAGE! We havent had a stand off for the entire season. Why did the head coach start the season without one?

I bet the Donny coach was happy wth the performance of his set of reserves / amateurs etc. It's part of a coaches job to get the best out of what he has.

Any team thrives on respect for the coach and his decisions. Paul may have not put this team together but he did take on the job as coach. We are not playing as a team.............you can fill in the rest!

You looked are our lads and it was clear the hadnt got a clue what was going on around them, concede a couple and the heads dropped.
That team has no confidence and is prepared badly.

Got to disagree, he has bags of potential but is lacking experience (positionally as much as anything) in one of the games key roles.

I overheard a player being asked why were you subsituted what did they say you did wrong? Communication and confidence is obviously lacking. Something is wrong. It doesn't look like a team to me. IMO We have several good players and we aren't getting th best out of them and that is down to the coach.

Support play is his strong point, but thats it. Poor defence, positional play and utter crap under a high ball - fact.

I'm not going to disagree with you one bit, you're probably right, what I'm saying is we looked like a team with no confidence and Donny played like a team with nowt to lose.

We only need to play 10% below par and they raise their game by 10% and all of a sudden there isnt much between us.

To be fair though Dave - when Ian Millward came in 1998 he took over someone else's team....and took us from rock bottom to a top four finish.

Sorry, I am like most supporters, frustrated because I know they can do better and it just isn't happening. I was at the edge of the ground and you can see in the faces of the players some have given everything they can. Some also also look bewildered as if they don't understand what is happening.

Rowley and Knox are not up to the job,first training session back from the Barrow game ,what happens ?Do they haul the players over the coals ,show them a dvd of the game ,no Rowleys lets Watson and Hobbo ,take charge of training ,while he and Knox,ASK THE PLAYERS, individually,what went wrong?Does he not know?we were Butchered ,by a better team ,Todats games ,was the same Donny,showed us we could well be going down with them ,and our crowds ,i fear for this CLUB.

Just about sums him up as a coach, your normally spot on with everything so can't see why that would be any different however much I'd hope it wasn't true.

Couldnt make the game however, this sums it up for me. The majority of the time opposition teams look better coached and organised regardless of the skill level of the players.

If we could consistently see this from our average/below average squad of players I would say less.

If players cant take instruction then they should not be playing. The players picked are picked by the coach and if they consistently dont follow his instructions they should be dropped.

No-one "appears" to being dropped so what does that say?

...and dont give the "well who else would you pick" line. Opportunity and hunger can be a magnicient motivator.
