Too many unknowns in the system at the moment but one thing will be sure if any benefits it wont be to the lender especially if like Wigan thry insist the players get a first team spot, that wont half pee off the contracted players and your own reserves, that plus teams will come too reliant on those players then whooosh they are back at the SL club when they have a few injuries.

The millward factor strikes with Wigan unfortunantly in my opinion. The three warrington lads IF signed and until they cross the whitewash i dont believe anything that comes out of Leigh in terms of speculation or announcements on the website!! will do nothing but add short term cover. Would rather see us promote some of our own youth instead of being a reserve SL side!!!

Certainly not getting heated up about this, we will be in a relegation - mid table battle again this year with or without these Dual Contract players. In my opinion Millward is a great coach not a god. Unfortunatly if will take 2-3 years at least for him to develop his own stamp on his squad. I just hope he isnt pinched by SL clubs along with Chris Hill,Adam Higson etc and gets this time to get the club back to the top of the championship and if luck is on our side or some SL teams go to wall get super league status

Here is hoping that once our props recover from their injuries we shall see some consistent entertaining and winning rugby.

I also have doubt with the dual contracts but i'm afraid at this moment in time we need them as i cant see props coming from the reserves at the moment.

Everyone has doubts over Dual contracts but the fact is while they exist and other clubs are doing it we either follow suit or fall further behind. Widnes now have a big squad in my opinion and loads of cover in different postions one may ask how they afford this and how all the players will be kept happy?

As Leyther Matt states Wigan have offered at least one of their players to Leigh, and he plays in a position you are struggling in. I really don't understand Leigh not taking up the offer.

I know Wigan used to INSIST that they played 1st team under the 'old' loan system.

Perhaps Leyther Matt's wrong & these players haven't been offered to Leigh. Terry O'Connor will still have friends at Wigan, so perhaps he got offered the players first.

He's a prop and thats what Leigh could do with. I don't know too much about him tbh but i'd have thought he's be worth the punt by Leigh if only on a short term deal. I watched him in the u21 Grand Final last year and he looked a real tough player. He ran it hard and hit people in the tackle.

The squad has certainly been bulked up with the three dual contracters and Davies on loan but looking at it there are still 11 players of the original 24 man squad that are 21 or under.

So the Pies promise to help us in anyway they can? Is it following the same lines as when Uncle Maurice stated that there was only room for one club in w*gan Metro? Help Leighs main rivals out at all costs seems to be the way they are helping us out? Mick Hogan a Leyther? I cannot beleive this sudden turnaround is to do with Millwards exploits at Wigan and whether we were offered Ben Davies or not surely we would of taken one of the players who have gone to Widnes given the chance? Lets just hope our good friends at Warrington see sence quickly and get these lads to us. I do not licke Loan deals or dual contracts one bit but we are behind the rest by a long way if we don't.

I am slightly worried about the duel contract, if a Club uses duel players and gets in a position where they reach the final of the NRC could they call tham back just for one game? Similar to calling back a player half way across the world to play in a final?
Would they play as a full team member or as a reserve? Keeping the NL player from a first team place.

As written before "we do not know who it will benefit", I am sure it will only benefit the SL teams in the long run

About the other things on this thread which crust munchers keep populating, I was upset Mr Milward was not allowed to finish the job at the Stade de Crust and the only relationship between wbgqn and Leigh has been a parasitic one.
