I never said that Higson deserves to be an automatic choice. Nobody does in my opinion.

Well AJ is quick and young. Nanyn is better for the coaching Basil brings to our side. Nanyn isn't the only one either. Thats why we have to trust our coaches judgement.

On balance there are plusses and minusses.

Both good players. I think Higson is young, fit, fast, good in attack, committed in defence, busting to play for Leigh, has bags of heart and guts. He also had a cracking game in our last outing and I think with a good coach such as Basil, he will only get better. Has a lot more potential in my opinion. He just needs to play regular first team rugby in order to improve. At his age , he needs first team if he is to get any better, even if it means trying his hand elsewhere.

Nanyn kicks goals and scores tries for fun.
Higson is getting better all the time and his time will come.

No , your ' flippancy ' started on page 4 well before I joined the debate , you suggested that Mick would get into the team in front of among others Mal Meninga and Kevin Iro , you obviously either are related to Adam or have a dislike for Mick

As for my statement , it was as I have already posted an opinion , I'd suggest a more credible one than saying Mick is better than Menninga and Gasnier , wouldn't you say , or that if Ian was to move up to SL he should take Mick with him , as good as he has been at our level fir several years , I don't personally think he could compete in SL , maybe you know better , I'd ring Tony Smith if I were you

How many times do I have to say, I just believe that there is a lot of good competition for places at centre this year. My point is, the men in form should be picked and there should not be any AUTOMATIC selections. I have never said anything about Higson playing in SL. I rate Blythe, Evans and Armstrong and they have all played SL this year, so both Mick and Adam and anyone else going for the centre spot have some very stiff competition. If either one of them nails down an almost automatic spot, they are doing very well. By the way, all this about the coach having the final say. I think that is pretty obvious and as I say, as a person who hardly ever misses a match, I will obviously continue to support Millward ,Nanyn, Higson and all the others all the way. Once they pull on the Leigh shirt, I am behind them. As you say, we are all entitled to our opinions.

No you haven't posted anything about Adam playing SL , I haven't suggested you had , you suggested Mick could go and play SL if Ian decided to take him with him , which you will now see , was a pretty stupid thing to suggest
