We have near as dammit, 2,000 committed fans at the moment. The more of those that can 'buy into' their club, the better. With the proper organisation/mobilisation of those who want to get involved, there is no reason why we can't come out of this as a MUCH STRONGER club.

I can see the 18's and 23's squads being binned as a result of this, anyone else fear this

I wonder how many of those 2000 turn up every week..i.e do we have 4,000 not quite as committed fans or 2,000 very committed fans? Obviously the answer is somewhere in between. Perhaps there are some of the 4,000 we can tap into as well - just because they can't/don't attend every week doesn't mean they would be happy to sit back and watch the club fold.

What we need though is real numbers being publicised so we can raise pledges against a target. Right now we have no official word that there IS even a problem, never mind how urgent it is or what the funding gap is. Once we have that it will be much easier to mobilise the troops..

In a sense, no - these squads will be the first team! Every penny has to be devoted to keeping the club afloat in the Championship, long term planning will once again have to be put on hold.

Do you not think AT was rebuilding the club from bottom to top and putting structures in place that would hold the club in good stead for the future?.I do.

i would say between 1800-2000 very dedicated! but the average has gone up this year so could be pushing 2000 to 2200ish

could we not arrange an event? if the club announce something i presume the usual lot will turn out

I'm not the one spreading lies about players not being paid,club being seconds from folding am I ?

Whats going on off the park will have effected the players and coach, they are human and no one likes sudden change and uncertainty.
However the lads have been playing top level RL from day 1 this year with a fixture list that has been very difficult , at some point we would fall ,any team maintaining that intensisty will find it is incredibly hard.
Away at York has never been a place I can say I've seen Leigh play well and Brian Noble turning up at Halifax will have no doubt stirred a sleeping giant like Halifax into waking up.

Once a few of our injuries start to come back and we get competiton for places again coupled with certainty off the field I have no doubt that our players and coaching team will finish what they started.

Lets hope all is sorted in the next few days.
