You even really Canadian?...because if you are you should be ashamed of yourself for allowing some of the (I'll be kind) "intentional misconceptions" about Canadas only professional rugby team, the Toronto Wolfpack, to abound on the forum. A proud Canadian would have stood up, like we did at Vimy, and set the record straight. Remember, sometimes taking the harder portage is the right decision, don't always blow with the wind like a snowflake.

To draw a line under this thread, there is no player at Leigh called Peter Mautauti, neither is their any team I know of called torornto.
On a different note, regards the privacy that our friend canoeman speaks so highly of. He may be surprised to learn of some of the topics his owner decided to discuss at high volume in a very small restaurant in Blackpool after the game last week...

Before you get too excited over Noble crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s for you. Might be worth just checking his CV again especially when it comes to expansion clubs, working with a blank chequebook or indeed within the rules of a salary cap.
When it comes to wondering why many Leigh fans aren’t overly enamoured with TWP, one of the main reasons will be their recruitment tactics. And here we are on a thread suggesting an in-contract player has been approached without permission from his parent club.

Tough games ahead and we need Toronto to win them all bar us.
Let's not forget that my good Friend Paul Rowley has a magnificent record in the middle 8's. All these close wins in the league season may not be as fruitful in the 8's.

The lad is SL class all over. Top end SL at that.
He is far to good for another season in the Championship and if we failed to make the top 4 , we all have accept that.
He is however happy at Leigh, and contracted to the end of 2019.
Therefore there is more chance of seeing a dodo, cross Pennington Flash whilst walking on a tightrope than Derek Beaumont selling him to Paul Rowleys's Toronto before then. |

If he's watch the Salford score today he will not be thinking it's a place to be to play SL. We could really need him now but he is not available so the lads will have to step up and make it happen without him. I believe they will.
