I think there's a little bit of pot kettle and practise what you preach in your post Ste. There absolutely nothing wrong with Lynda's question but the reaction was over the top in my opinion. There are agenda's going on here ( from both sides ) and it's starting to get very boring now. I really don't want to read comments like that from a senior board member of our club please. Or the others about double user names. It's like being in a junior school playground with the behaviour.
A simple "no it's not needed" or something similar would have done. Now a war of words has broken out again.
Like I have said on here before bullying and school playground mentality makes me sick.

I can still see Wayne walking around the pitch at HP taking photos and giving the odd opinion of the game at the top of his voice. Him and Brian selling the half time draw tickets will be forever embedded in my memories of HP and Leigh RLFC.

With hindsight which we all know is a wonderful thing I wish I had simply done as you propose.

With regards agendas mate I have no other agenda than to come on here and promote the work we are doing to build the club and also contribute when I feel the need as a fan.

It sometimes feels like a power struggle of some kind on here, not sure why as all I've done is been stupid enough to join a new Board and pump time and cash into the club that was going nowhere fast till we took it on. I feel like I'm fighting an up hill battle 90% of the time against someone who should know better having seen her husband in our shoes and been close to the former board in her position with LISA.

An example of this is we announce we are bringing shed loads of kids in to the stadium which everyone wants to see and to make it cost effective under the strict budget we have assigned a designated area of the west stand for this but rather than than view this as a positive like 99% of other people first thing that comes back is we should open the East stand??

In this particular instance I posted a press release before it had gone to press as an exclusive for you guys that use this site thinking it would be viewed as a positive (which it was by everyone else) but again instead of anything positive within ten minutes there is a post which I viewed as finding a potential fault or negative in what we are doing which frustrates the life out of me as the person should know better IMO.

Anyway I've said my piece I'm going to stick to posting info I think you fans will want to know but will refrain from engaging or getting involved any more as it's just not worth the hassle.

I've never felt so close to walking away from the club I've always loved, because of this thread.

I don't want sympathy neither , I won't regret a moment of anything , the tears and laughter, joy Leigh RLFC have given me over the years will always be there in my heart .

Your heart and soul is in Leigh Centurions, you have my respect for the effort you put into LISA and if it's come across as I'm being out of order with you in this thread then I don't want this to be the case and will offer my apology.

I'd like you to come to the legends bar and let me buy you a drink shake hands and put this to bed so we can move on please.

I don't want to be at odds with someone who I know wants the same things as I do and indeed we all do.

Let's move on some great times ahead and without people like yourself and the hard work you have done over the years we may not have gotten to this point.
