Tony don't worry mate , you are entitled to your opinions be they right or wrong , everyone is entitled to what they think is right , ive been a critic of the team in various ways in the past , last night they did very little wrong ,and showed they can play when they want .
Batleys main play last night was the darting from dummy-half , OK it worked a couple of times , otherwise they didn't surprise me , still doing the niggling tactics , I wouldn't be a bullfrogs supporter for a Big Diamond .

Ian our defence last night was by far the best I have seen against a big, fast, niggley team. What really impressed me was the different type of try's we scored. They were clever and skillfull with the way we unlocked their defence. They tried to rough us up and we gave it them back with interest. Can't stop smiling and can't for for Fred's video.

As I have said Tony , I have watched the Premier Sports version ,totally agree about our defence , Batley have now played 160 minutes against us this season , and have been awarded one try , I didn't say scored one try because it was given as benefit of the doubt , the replay isn't conclusive .
Riddy and Ryan are a Quality partnership , our Forwards were immense last night Bob B had a blinder , both Toms very good , Hoppy never has a bad game , well supported by Thorniley and the others , our backs all did a good job , ive been critical of Maden recently , but he took the ball in very well , and took pressure off our forwards , nobody had a bad game , im very happy , more of the same at Donny next week .

As a TV viewer in Kent, chuffed to bits - atmosphere came across - crowd pretty good cp Championship matches. Reckon Batley deserve their 50% , kept me on tenterhooks till last try went in. Hope to get to Halifax.

First chance I've had to post on here since the game. Proud to be a leyther on Thursday night. 1-17 played theirs hearts out and put their bodies on the line. The last try was superb and one I will never forget.

Unfortunately I'm in Benidorm on the 20th July but have already started trying to find a pub that shows premier sports. Leyth shirt already in my suitcase and good luck to the lads in the final and everyone who goes - enjoy the game and do the club proud!!!

I was under the impression they announced Salford as the Grand Final venue when they announced Halifax for the NRC. Had no idea it had changed despite the initial rumour.

It was announced that the LSV would be the GF venue a few days after Halifax was announced as the NRC final venue.

Can't wait for the Donny game. I'm really going to go to town. As for not enjoying the game how do you know if I didn't enjoy it?
