The rest will be down to PR but I think Brierley Beswick and 2 forwards on the bench.

Sorry Frank i was thinking Beswick starting at 13,Penky at 9,Coyle & Riddy at 6& 7,they could then inter change which would allow you two props ,a secondrow/centre and Brierley on bench.

Well we all have our personal preferences as to who should play where.

We should always go with our best 17 in my view.

Our coaching staff are paid to select the team and decide on that.

Look at our props. Now you are our coach and may' if you wish take Tom Spencer from Wigan for a particular game.

My preference would be to sign another experienced prop on contract.
If we'd have had Hoppy and parker vs Sheffield i think we'd have won the game,we shouldn't leave ourselves short again.
If wigan rate spencer that much then they should DC him to a lower end SL club.

Welcome aboard Tommy Coyle. Think he will definately add something to our squad/team and we will certainly
have plenty of attacking options next year. For me our squad is looking very strong so far but I would like to see an extra winger and a big prop to finish off our recruitment. Didn't Coyle miss pretty much all of last season through a nasty injury? What injury was it? Hopefully won't affect his performances for us.

Didnt realise he was so young tbh - good mix of youth and experience in him.

I think he has primarily been brought in as cover bearing in mind he can play half back or hooker - it's good to have that competition and will certainly keep the likes of Riddy, Beswick, Penky, Nicholson and Brierley on their toes if and they now know that if they lose form then they can be replaced very easily. Also if we get injuries next year - what crippled us last year - they are now well covered.

For me, nobody is guaranteed a place in the 17 out of the players mentioned and that is a VERY good thing to have, we've got fantastic option at playmaker and I think that is well catered for now. More 'grunt' and pace now please Rowley!

nothing against Coyle at all, just feel for Nicho and Brierley to be honest.

Give the lad a chance FFS. Competition for places is never a bad thing. Ridyard, Brierley, Bewsick, Nicholson, Penky along with Coyle will have to compete for their place and perform consistently to stay in the 17.

Welcome on board Thomas Coyle .PR says he will have to earn his place and that he turned down better financial deals to come to Leigh .

From what Rowley's said, it doesn't look like he's earmarked to go straight into the team. But if him being in the squad gives us a chance to rest players like Penky, Beswick etc from time to time, so they're fit for the play offs, then it will prove a good signing.

I eat pies all the time mate,but i think thats ok, because my pies will never be humble pies.
As for praising wigan,that highly unlikely 'EVER' but your quite welcome to go thru my posts and find one were iv'e disrespected the people or the players.

I think we have an abundance of back 3 forwards so maybe next season big Sam will be one of our interchange props.

Yesterday i'd completely forgot about Thornley so i doubt we will be in the market for another prop on contract,so we've got 5 props as i see it.

Who said anything about disrespect?As for Humble Pies ?I seriously hope we never have to Experience what happened all those years ago , i personally am a Union man through and through , but dont hold grudges , they make you bitter .

Personally I don't think 5 props is enough for a whole season. I'm sure we will be looking at a couple of DC's for cover and rotation but IMO 6 is the minimum number of props to have contracted to Leigh for any one season. Look at what happened last year with Bibey. All it takes is one serious injury and all of a sudden you only have 4 props for the rest of the year and can't afford any more injuries. Sure PR knows what he's doing and who he wants but i'd definately like to see one more prop signed up.

It would be nice to have a big unit to replace Bibey how intimidating was Ricky & Parker when on the field together. Some of our props aren't the biggest but in terms of numbers we do have 7 to use with Parker, Ostick, Thornley, Aspinhall, Hopkins, Duffy & Taylor then there's DC's to add to that so we have cover albiet I think Taylor & Thornley are better in't back row
