Heard him on GMR the other night and seemed to know what he was on about. Criticised Leigh's tactics/game plan several times which was fair enough. Level 3, played at the highest level. I think it would be a great appointment.

I did a good interview with Stanky after the game today, he was giving nothing away but he will talk about the Russian job in a bit more detail on the podcast after next.

I don't believe he will be Leigh's next coach personally as he's building a very capable squad for next season at Hornets which is his level, but who could blame him for taking the step up if he was offered the role.

Yup - said it this afty.....he's contracted to Hornets for another 12 months, has spoken to no one else, he knows he's been linked with moves to Leigh, Cas, and a couple of RU clubs, but he's no plans to go anywhere.........

......I expect the announcement in the next 48Hours!!!

After listening to Johns interview it sounds like he has dragged his backside up from hell and got to here he is through hard work. This is very comendable but does it carry any baggage? He also talked about he along with JPW forming a players union of sorts. Could he do this and be the full time head coach or Leigh? I think John probably talked himself out of the running with the interview but thats just my view. What he is craving in his life is stability listening to him so it may suit him to stay at Rochdale. The number of houses he and his family have lived in over the last few years says that. Could Leigh offer him that at the moment?

I almost sacked an employee for such a thing. After I gave him 'action short of dismssal', i told him to grow up!

This is just my opinon, but facebook and twitter are just for sad people. They really need to get a life !
