Aren't the players on contract until some time in October?

No idea, but if true this is another for the RFL. why when are season ends on day 2 of October are contracts until the end of the month?

The whole game is a shambles at the moment run by idiots who won't change anything cause they are currently carving up £1m a year between 4 of them.

Our off season is as long as the season. Man Utd will play more games in Asia in the off season than we play at the village, the game is a joke currently concluded by that club call nonsense 30 mins ago!

Should be plenty room come 1 Nov then 1 single ? newly appointed coach, by directors who have gone, couple in lottery department,and cecil b de mille watching his own dvds

Coach will not be appointed by 'directors who have gone' though. Two directors are staying on, until any new BOD is in place, plus we have a CEO and existing head coach, who will be involved in the appointment process.

thats a change is it, which two directors ,are they the ones who appointed the ceo lets hope so ,or was ceo appointed by a new bod if so lets hope they want the new coach or we could end up with more than one coach.. again...

The CEO was appointed by the majority shareholder , the person who could still call the shots if he so wished on everything

The only "signifcant" contracts that run into next season are Littler, Rowley and Bibey. Though I think Bibey's contract has a get out clause in the 3rd year (next season).

yes, and what a mess we are in, how can we really move on until that is reolved,are the majority shares for sale / under offer, will any newcomer have to purchase those as well as take on the debt or just wait

So until anything happens it's Trevor in the hot seat , with the books to balance as his problem , all we can do as fans is offer whatever help we can
