Personally i would have Dom Maloney but i see him everyweek so im a bit biased. You never know i might get to see both next season.

maybe he loves his other job.
maybe he loves his life as it is.
maybe he earns a good living as it is.
SLE is not everything.
but if he did want to go,i for one would shake his hand and say thanks for some great moments and best of luck in your future.

sorry ave to disagree about JT he will tackle all day but offers very little else its not always about size john westhead and mick mctighe were not big but could tackle and make a break and score trys something JT cant do think we need a hard running second row who can get through a gap and pass a ball

I'm a JT fan with no sentiments attached and I also think that Goulden is more than just a grafter, he can break the line and slip the pass . JT would do for me as my grafter in the squad

Reluctantly, I have to agree with you. Jimmy is a sensational tackler, and is Leigh, through & through. But, if we are to progress, we need players who have something to offer in attack, as well.

Well i've been disappointed with Bibey ,only see him play one good game and that was against Widnes away ,am i missing something in his style of play ?serious question

No I agree, Bibey has been poorer than expected this season he's a big guy but walks in with the ball in hand with no conviction. If you hadn't of seen or heard of before he came to us again this season you wouldn't have believed he'd played international rugby.

Ask the guys who are tackling him that.

In fairness, if he did break tackles as well as carrying out 35+ tackles a game, he'd be playing in Super League.

He is a big fella and am certain is hard to tackle but like i said i don't seem to understand his game especially when i see Hilly bursting through tackles all the time, now i know they have different styles but out of the two i know who i would want in the team every week ,and this is not getting at Bibey in any way

Gives us a quicker play the ball than any other of our front rowers, allowing a quick thinking dummy half to catch defenders off-side and move us up the field further. Also has good ball handling skills. Don't have a problem with Ricky personally, adds another dimension to our front row options.

I think if Leigh didn't have Tommy they may of kept Jimmy but Goulden is a work horse, tackling machine that is good in attaack too so I can understand why the decision may of been made to release Taylor but good luck in the Future mate I had some good games against you at Miners

Where does it say that he has been released? Nowhere, as Leigh have not officially said who have been released or retained as of yet.
AFAIK he is still on contract until the end of 2011, with a bit of luck our Dave will be having a word with Basil tomorrow for the Journal, and don't let this get into an 'I don't get the Journal' tirade please, then again I suppose we haven't had that one for at least five minutes.

Taking a drive isnt always about trying to smash through the tackle with 6 men hanging off you every time. Big Frank does this at Fax, which is why he manages about 15 minutes a game.

It's also about a quick few yards, not getting put on your back, and playing the ball quickly. Bibey does this for 60 minutes week in week out.

The more Leigh lads the better in my book and I'm looking forward to seeing the development of Sam Hopkins, Jon Pownall and Anthony Nicholson next season.

Not having a go at all ,i said i didn't understand his game but after reading a couple of post i understand his role better and will view his input differently in the future

all 3 should get a shot at 1st team next season in my opinion

Believe me Hilly is not small by any means, and trains hard on the weights at the gym, but like you say with SL training he would be huge in my opinion. By the way the last time i spoke to him, it was a few weeks back mind, he wasn't going anywhere, whether or not that has changed i don't know.
