Why doesnt everyone going to the game tommorrow ,sponser a walker 50p...... so if we have 2000 fans on thats a huge chunk already raised . Better still join us, it doesnt matter if your a kid and you only get a Tenners worth of sponsers, let do it in mumbers, lets make an impression, be a good laugh too.

Wish I could be there. I did the one to Chorley, and the one to Warrington for Knotty and loved 'em both. Great craic, and lots of support. Memories of helping push Starbug the last half mile to Warrington in a shopping Trolley!!!! Can't remember which watering hole it was, but the staff there donated their tips for the week into Knotty's fund ....

If a coach (or a large enough one) cannot be found to bring the walkers back to Leigh could some of the supporters going by car not bring a few back if they have empty seats?
I can't do the walk but i'm prepared to bring 6 back in my car and drop them off at various points (within reason)

should it be made plain to people that even if they can raise only a tenner or in fact any sum then that would be a good effort also to stop asking for sponsors when they reach £100 shouldnt be encouraged its any sum raised will do?

The reporter came down yesterday for a photo shoot with some of us walkers and it ll appear , hopefully in this weeks paper. I will be pushing more too in he coming week. So for we have about 30 walkers signed up and its looking good, more walkers still needed and as Fred said if your not walking, please sponser some one who is.
