If there's no replay they'll probably swap you for a Warrington/Wi*an ticket or reimburse you if you've already purchased them.

Well its a stupid decision anyway shut the carparks and roads that arent safe while the game is on, people that want to go will find a way to get there. People then can go at their own risk, all it needed is a statement that says just that.

Its the worst ice and snow we have had for years. Going to Asda and going to a sporting event is a little different - 2-3000 people are not going to turn up within 30 minutes of Asda opening for starters. Had the guys who made the decision reversed this and someone(s) got hurt because of it then who wants that on your conscience? Its a friendly not a league game. As for being reimbursed, then I'm sure the club haven't hopped it on a flight to Mexico. The game gets rearranged or you get your money back - simples.
I'm gutted because we was going to make a day of it.
As for work and going to the pub then thats your own call.

I must say im a little disappointed too, first ours was called of yesterday and so i thought ill catch Saints v Wigan or Leigh v Salford. Then the Saints game gets called off now yours boohoo. You could have pulled in a load of fans desperate for rugby today but you'll have to make do with 1,500 now next week.

2-3000 people over half an hour from several different routes going into several gates would probably equate to the amount of public going in one direction into one doorway in half an hour at ASDA over the Xmas period with the whole car park and entrance covered in compact ice. Likewise the market entrance from the big car park.

Could'nt they have waited until 1 o clock before making the decision to cancel ,its melting at a rate of knotts at the moment ,plus weather turning bad again from middle of week.

Why couldn't they have asked volunteers to come down with spades and shovels to try and clear the car parks if that would have made a difference? I would have happily done my bit to get a fix of rugby seeing as my plans to go to Saints v Wigan were scuppered.

Just get a bit of leverage under this ice with a spade and it's ridiculously easy to shift - go out onto your own drive and test it now if you don't think it can be done!
