Shame that been a nice Guy doesnt win games then.

I made some pretty harsh comments when he was at Fax, And from what I gathered, some of the players didn't think he was good enough either. I remember a few years ago when he played for the Giants on Sky and was been touted as "one for the future". Don't think he'll ever realise that potential though that may be down to his shoulder problems.

The lads just not good enough. Hes clutching at straws staying at the Giants. Couple of years down the line he will be lucky to have a champ team. Just the way it is.

Nor does being a bad guy necessarily win / lose games. But he is a nice guy and can clearly conduct himself with a lot more dignity than you can muster.

It was your coaches who totally mismanaged his loan.

However I did say the fax coaches botched the whole process. Nothing compared with last weks c*ck up versus widnes, but still a poor do.

If you get your facts straight you will remember that he was on a months loan. We sent him back after a month and three days. He simply wasn't good enough. Batley had him last year and they decided the same. Get over it.

If I recall 'Fax won every game when he was on loan (playing or not) so i'd say Calland did a pretty good job! Heemingway has Never been up to standard an only sticked around at Hudds as he was there only Home grown player at the time!

You can't blame 'Fax coach because Hemmingway didn't impress him FFS why what did he do wrong? If tommy is such a good player why aint he in Hudds side? Why didn't Batley snap him up etc etc.

Good on the lad at Leigh by all means and hope it works out for him in end! But having a pop at other teams coaches just becuase they didn't rate him is ludicris!

I have said he is a nice guy and hope he gets a fair crack. The procession of pompous fax fans coming on here to bag him is ridiculous - almost as ridiculous as going down 32-0 after 40 mins in gateshead.

I hope Tom goes well for you. I was pleased when I heard we had taken him on loan but was disappointed with what I saw. He plays a much more methodical style and sticks to a game plan. And as anyone who watches Fax play will know we do not play like that. Its usually off the cuff, play as you see it.
The decision to bring him in is probably one which wasn't thought out fully my Matt Calland and Martin Hall and they probably regret it now. We only had 2 fixtures in the month he was with us so had little chance to prove himself. The 2 games he played in (Sheff at home & Dons away) the whole team was poor and disjointed so he never stood a chance.

His days at Huddersfield are numbered and if he goes well for you then he will probably sign for next season too.

He wasn't good enough, generally if you loan in a SL player in this league you expect them to be better than what you have or to bring something different, at Halifax he was neither.

The fact he didn't do well at Batley says a lot really.

You like to go around bigging Tom Hemingway up, fair play, someone obviously thought he showed a lot of promise when they took him on at the Giants, but seen as though he's been sent out on loan to 3 National League/Championship clubs, and was offered to a number of Clubs at the end of last season, whoever saw that promise obviously isnt there any more and the current coaching set up obviously don't see much of a future for him at Huddersfield.

It didnt work out, hes not up to scratch, maybe it will work out at Leigh for him. Some players just dont `make it` and im not sure what world you are living in but in all likelyhood he is going to be one of them. Have you honestly seen anything that suggests differently? I was hoping you would make a comment about seeing something different in him that Fax or Batley fans didnt see. Yet instead of saying, well hes only young, or hes been outstanding for the seconds, or anything half resembling a rational retort you just come back with a bunch of poop.

To be honest TH did nothing really to impress during his time at Fax or seemingly Batley. Maybe there are reasons for this but we go on what we saw. And if he did have much potential I am sure Matt Calland and Martin Hall would have kept him. However he has been at 2 clubs and both have been disappointed with him. Maybe at Leigh it will be 3rd time lucky for him. But he certainly is not a top quality Championship player or else he would have shown something either at Fax or Batley.

Why are we being bitter and dim saying how bad TH was for us? It was plain for everyone to see that he simply wasnt good enough.
