why do you think this?For me Derek won't leave,and neither will KP,I don't think KC will either, so it just leaves the playing personel, which we all know WILL change next season,hardly start of a New Era,we all know a few players will leave,some deserve to be shown the door, others maybe on big contracts should leave, but have faith in Derek, I'm sure he knows what mistakes he's made,let's support the Club next season , whatever happens, I know I will.

Ian,When i wrote my post yesterday on here about Frank,i genuinely had a lump in my throat. It really was so sad to hear the terrible news yesterday. Regarding today's game,you are quite right,and i really think we need to look at our half backs for the future. I'll be there next week,and hope to see you soon pal.

The start of the season was nearly 6 months ago, a long time in RL, and the other word is MIGHT.

Mooky it was on Backchat not Rugby AM. He retracted that statement months ago stating he was annoyed at the dismal start to our season as was the same with all us on here with the exception of the trolls.

If it means cutting back due to funding then fine, as they'll find better players who will work for a wage,not just take it. That halfback combo of ours has struggled all season. I'd start there first.

Rich Marshall has punched way above his weight at Fax. Top 4 secured with players paid nowt near what either of our clubs are paying.

And that's three successive seasons that he/they have achieved it. I am on record, on their forum, as saying I wish we could/would take a leaf out of their books. I wish them well in the Middle 8's, (despite having let us down yesterday

) but I'm sure we will both be battling it out with them again next season.

Halifax could once again make a strong Super League side in the not too distant future.

If Toronto and Toulouse gain promotion this year, with Salford and Widnes relegated, the 2019 Championship will be wide open.

With an extra couple of million Im sure we would do a dam site better than both Widnes and Salford. But I would also say the same for Leigh, Fev and Toulouse as well.

Well as they have done, and entertained into the bargain, I feel Toulouse will fall short. Toronto however, stand a good chance and, much as it grieves me to say it, (not a fan of North American or French teams in British RL) I believe they deserve a crack at it.

Why don't Leigh invest in the youth game? The game is buoyant in the area as Wigan have proved. This buy and bust approach is seems short sighted.

An academy was setup this year. But will take years for the academy setup itself to develop. Hopefully the club stick by it.
