Seems bizarre, when we have two lads playing (one at full back, at that) who obviously weren't fit to play. (I'm not knocking Donlan or Armitstead - they had the guts to play) I know it wouldn't have made any difference to the final result, but to leave out one of your better players seems an odd selection.

Well I'm sorry but you and all the others on the other threads who are deciding to call it a day on our club are not fans. I know we were very bad today but it could all be different next week or the week after. I travel 30 miles each way to watch our team at home and todays result wont stop me doing it again. Infact the club will have to close before I stop going.

I think we've all said at some point "that's it, I'm not bothering any more", but as Leigh24.7 alluded on another thread, it comes to the week of the game and you convince it can't be any worse than last time and you still end up going.

It never happens though and the more 'diehards' that start to drop off, the further the club falls until they realise that something needs to be done.

I don't think today's result will see people never darken our doors again, to be honest, but many more performances like this and, over time, it will drop off as people begin to pick and choose their games.

Was surprised that as many as 1,600 were on today - the North Stand was very sp; you can tell it's empty when there's enough space for the vast majority to lean on a barrier.

is this not the same as little poor me i drive 30 miles to go to a game. i commend you for that i really do but will put the table and chairs on the roof when we ave a drink as we will both be wearing wings and health and safety does not allow flyin in pubs.

I hav to admit the `building for next season` thing lasted a lot longer than i expected but just over the half way mark and its out of the window totally.
Probably an underlying reason you got spanked yesterday was the effort that you put in at Fax. Every team that has played us this season has struggled the week after and im guessing thats no coincidence.
