Why doesnt everyone going to the game tommorrow ,sponser a walker 50p...... so if we have 2000 fans on thats a huge chunk already raised . Better still join us, it doesnt matter if your a kid and you only get a Tenners worth of sponsers, let do it in mumbers, lets make an impression, be a good laugh too.

Great idea from DJ, and if anyone feels that they cant raise £100, join one of the walking groups already formed or create your own group. If the Lib Dems and Conservatives can join forces, can 10 Leythers?

Wish I could be there. I did the one to Chorley, and the one to Warrington for Knotty and loved 'em both. Great craic, and lots of support. Memories of helping push Starbug the last half mile to Warrington in a shopping Trolley!!!! Can't remember which watering hole it was, but the staff there donated their tips for the week into Knotty's fund ....

If a coach (or a large enough one) cannot be found to bring the walkers back to Leigh could some of the supporters going by car not bring a few back if they have empty seats?
I can't do the walk but i'm prepared to bring 6 back in my car and drop them off at various points (within reason)
