Wonder how many regular fans we would have if we had 'for example'to play all our home games in St Helens.

Don't forget there is no incentive to go to Championship games for a lot of people since the possibility of promotion was removed.

Our own crowds aren't too good are they ? Suppose you could say the same for ALL Championship clubs and those in the bottom half of Nonrelegation League.

Yes but he is correct. This is Swinton's home game, we paid the rent to our landlords therefore we dictate what goes on. Get used to it ...your away from home and the same will happen next year.

If that’s what normally happens as part of their lease agreement then why should this game be any different? Even if it doesn’t normally happen I can understand why they’ll want it on this occasion.

Similar could be said with regards to the radio, although reality has shown it’s had little to no effect on our support if it was available on-line it could affect the ‘home’ support, which lets face it they know they’ll need all they can get to out number the away fans.

An occasional moan is one thing but I struggle to compete with the serial whingers on here.

The radio thing is a bit hard to swallow as they are usually allowed to broadcast from most away grounds, facilities allowing. The poster and other things I don't have a problem with.

We're not talking about a multi million pound operation here, we're two Championship clubs who happen to share the same ground and I would have thought that it was in both our interests to help each other out rather than doing our best to pee each other off, which is what seems to be happening in this case (there are many other issues/demands besides the radio).

I just hope this petty case of oneupmanship on swinton's part is worth it.

Worth mentioning though that on the Sale forum they were keen to push both clubs to get equal branding around the place and in the bars etc to avoid an "us and them" situation. Personally I think Swinton's moves in taking down the branding, putting Leigh fans in the South Stand etc etc is the ideal motivation for fans and players alike.
