I'd love him to sign for Warrington but not sure that will ever come to fruition. Fingers crossed he sticks with us and eventually we get to the promised land, sooner rather than later.

Hilly may stay with us because it absolutely suits his lifestyle. Who is the local lad who refused to go pro because playing amature suited his lifestyle? Chris may have to give a lot up to be fulltime proffesional which may not appeal to him and his familly.

I'll buck the trend and say I hope he doesn't go to SL unless its with us.
More than happy seeing him put in top dollar performances for a club he wants to be at.

With a young family to support, he can be financially better off by playing semi-pro and also holding down a job than he would be playing full-time in Super League.

Only a proportion of SL players are on top dollar. A number of younger ones are on less than £20k. Therefore, a Championship part-time wage, augmented by pay from a full-time job can be better than a SL salary.

And I very much doubt that hocks job when he retires will be heavily funded by Wigan as has his most recent one!! So also doubt that he'll be doing that job!

Chris works in a gym, if he is a personal trainer he could earn a lot of money.

Don't think he does personal training yet Lynda, but like you say if he does go in for that he could earn decent money.
