| Quote ="Draexnael"You need everything, SL/CH, it doesn't matter what league you play in, of course you need to have a structure as your baseline, lots of pre-trained moves.. But the fundamental point, which we do not have, is you must have the freedom to throw them all out of window and play what is in front of us. Riddy was bollocked for ignoring the 'gameplan', for making a break and scoring in fact.
You have to remember that we got relegated last season, for whatever you want to say Jukes failed. Once the initial 'unknown' of us wore off we became predictable and very easy to play against. Defend the Centre well, wait for the turn over.
The crux of the problem with Jukes is, not only does he hate anyone ignoring the gameplan, the gameplan could be written on the back of a fag packet.. We have at most 5 set moves, combine those two we are utterly predictable.
Did you see any progression last season? Did you see us trying new things once we started to struggle? We play the exact same way we did game 1 of SL even now. Hes said it himself at the Q + A... Its a coach without ideas.
Doesn't help he has Cunningham throwing in his two penny's worth, and his coaching knowledge is limited to the first 5 yards behind the ruck and nothing else.'"
I don't think we can forget that we actually also got promoted using the Jukes system ( or was it Cookey),in pretty fine style. Which endorse's the fact to me,he either can't replicate that system or its somebody else pulling the strings. The system for me at present isn't Jukes style.
I feel for Jukes as I would probably feel perturbed with the appointment of KC and he must have felt unsettled. That for me is one of the issues as there's no clarity on who is head coach. We all know their respective job titles but the system on the pitch says different.

It will be too late by then. An experienced coach should have been brought in halfway through last season - we would probably still be in SL if this had happened. As it is we are being beaten by the 2 promoted sides from Champ 1. Jukes should go now. He has a full time team with SL/NRL players. He isn't good enough. Please go.

| If Toulouse beat us at the weekend, Jukes is toast.
As already stated, should have gone last season. Could have saved a few grand on the all expenses paid trip to Australia.
Having Cunningham in charge doesn't inspire me either. DB only himself to blame.

I doubt we would have remained in SL given the injuries. The MPG saw us short of eight first team regulars and that told. Who do you replace him with? Its quite clear KC is making the calls. Also are you paying NJ off?

WYB. I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, and maybe didn’t mean to in the way I see it.
It’s the coaches job to question the players commitment if it’s lacking. If the coach can’t get his players to commit then it’s time for a new coach, or in this case new coaches.
As for Mickey and Riddy, they are not out there because of these coaches.
It’s time !

| Mark Taylor tweeted on Sunday that Reynolds put a kick in and it went 'dead' ! Watching the Aussie teams at the weekend and seeing them force repeated sets on our SL teams shows the lack of game control our UK halfbacks possess ! Sadly for us, Reynolds is not the answer for us!
Last season, Craig Hall was Championship 1 player of the year operating from the Stand Off position for the' Exiles'
What has happened to Hall ? are we saying Owen is a better fullback than him? are we saying Reynolds is a better halfback than him or even, is Dawson a better winger than him? Anyone know?

Personally, I think he kicks the ball too far, especially from penalty kicks to touch. The 'game plan' for penalties is obviously to play safe, and just gain 5-10 metres, thus giving us the option to 'attack from depth'!

| Would Evans and Hall be a better partnership than Crookes and Dawson? I think Laurel and Hardy would be really
We do have some very capable players on our books, its just the Coaches who seem to be lacking at the moment!

It is a little difficult to do that when you have no or little service , however Dawson is a very poor winger for me. Defensively he is just not at the races and I have said it for some time now.

I understand he's not had good service but how many other wingers in the game score trys on their own ability in broken play without relying on service, how many breaks has he made on kick returns ect because in nearly 3 seasons I can't remember many, yes he works hard and comes in to help the forwards out but sorry I think has a full time team I want more than a winger just taking drives in

Harold, you appear to be another one who hasn't yet come to grips with modern-day RL! (see my reply on the need not to gain ground from penalty kicks) In the 'tactics' we employ, the winger's sole job is to run the ball hard from dummy half, thus saving the forwards' energy, so that they can dominate and tire the opposition, and run the points in, during the second half. Oh, hang on a minute............................

Probably one of the reasons we dont see expansive play,as we dont have the pace to match that stlye 40/50m out. Our style (if you can call it that at present) is set for the likes of Dawson to score from 5/10m out,but he's just not getting the service at that range.
Nice to see 40/50m trys, but most are one offs these days as precedence is set on getting to the scoring zone and then use them. All very pedicatable at present.

| Without any expansiveness of play teams are predictable we seem to be playing a bad version of Aussie rugby. There is also the issues of entertaining the fans and letting the players express themselves there should be space in a good team for this. Coaches need to free the players to play what they see and show a bit of belief in them.

Without a doubt. The thing for me is and this is were the coaching side of it fails. They don't have an answer in real time. They set the stall out,but don't change a thing.
