I had heard he wasn't going to play again I hope it's not true as he was one of our stand out players, in my opinion of course. Anyone know anything?

Well good news if true, be like having a new player bringing him back into the squad

If the guy has a history of head knocks, he/the club shouldn't be risking playing him.

It'll be out of the club's hands,if the doctors give him the all clear to resume playing then why should the club not play him Alan ???

By the club, I meant our medics, first and foremost. The thing is, he's been out for a lengthy spell now - I wonder why that is, unless the medical people felt there is something pretty serious?

Losing Patterson would be a massive blow he is a really talented player and, had he been fit, he could have helped out in the centres or halves! I hope he is able to return soon.

As for our performances and the lack of enterprise /ability we can point the finger directly to our halfbacks.
If you look around at Cas, Gale/Roberts , Salford, Dobson/Liu, Wigan, Leului/ Williams they have played pretty much all of their respective teams games and, their clubs positions reflect that consistency required from your halbacks!
Last season, our partnership of Ridyard/Drinkwater proved to be highly successful for us and the envy, of many others! This season, probably due mainly to injuries we have not had that consistency. Its my opinion that Ben Reynolds is not god enough for this level of Rugby, try as he might! Josh Drinkwater has been injured and doesn't look to be moving freely? I firmly believe that Martyn Ridyard is more than capable of leading us around, ( Garry Schofield was predicting an England call for him) ! Whats gone wrong here? Against HKR, Stewart was receiving what should have been Martyn's ball and Reynolds, was taking all the kicks!! If our coaches don't now fancy Ridyard, make him available, there will be plenty takers! Ill bet John Kear will be glad if Ridyard is omitted from the teamsheet this week, he knows very well what Riddy can do and, Wakefield were one of first clubs rumoured to be interested in him last season!
Brian Carney and Phil Clarke are wondering what has happened to us since our early season performances? If they'd bothered to find out they would know the horrendous Injury and suspensions we are dealing with!
I wonder how Wakey would feel about tackling this line up?

Well an esteemed organ such as Wiggin T'day needs to be taken quite seriously. It seems that they don't mean real acting though only film/ TV type multi-take waste of time stuff. Then again CP would have made a better Reacher than the Scientologist Dwarf. Lee once told Bongser (over a very strong coffee you understand) that when he was creating the character of Reacher he was picturing Lawrence Dallaglio. CP shorter but not as much of a childish sell out as Cruise.
