IDIOTS!! Well thats taken up my tuesday - im goin to be gettin in at 10pm. Is there any good reason why they dont play next sunday? Please dont tell me its because Genesis are playin there this weekend!!

At least they've bothered to announce a new date - though I don't support either side I'll probably try to make the trip in order to see some rugby league.

That's in contrast to Saints and Wigan, who don't seem to want to replay their fixture, with Wigan announcing they'll unveil refund details soon. I can only assume the game was only arranged as a money spinner rather than an actual useful pre-season exercise as they'd surely be keen to get it played soon if the latter was true.

Whenever the match is played there,ll be people who can,t make it for one reason or another.

For those of us who can make it'from a purely selfish point of view it suits me better midweek as travelling is a lot more reliable then.

I will also miss this because i work shifts(whats wrong with this week while most people are on holiday) I will have to get a refund as i have already bought tickets for the other games.

Lets face it, someone was bound to moan, regardless of when it was replayed.

This suits me fine ,could not have gone tomorrow and next Sunday would have been tight for time so i guess i'm lucky

but i know it wont suit everyone and no matter what date they chose it would'nt have gone down well with some.

you could always get a refund or transfer your ticket to the wires game.

Sounds good to me (LGFC supposed to play that night, but away at Colne so will no doubt be postponed).

I know the postponement is just unfortunate, but the rearranged date must knock quite a few hundred off the gate. Most people are back at work and will be unable to attend, me being one of them. What was wrong with Sunday 3rd January. This rearrangement must be out of Leigh's control. I can't imagine anyone being so stupid as to arrange it for Tues 5th Jan at 7:30pm without being forced to by either WMBC, Salford or the police. Leigh are going to lose quite a few thousand quid with this stupid date. They will be very lucky to get a thousand crowd on, whereas Sunday would have got 2500-3000 on. I predict a crowd of 900. Diabolical decision.

How does the fact that the LSV have now no idea how many people will be attending sit with their diktat on all ticket games?

I'm sure Leigh did not want a return Sunday match, and were over joyed that todays match was postponed, and of course they obviously choose Tueday as the rearranged fixture date to upset people who lived away from Leigh or were on shifts.

Get real everyone, you can either get your money back,go to the Warrington game or go on the 5th, what more do you want.I bet half the people on here who moan would of been the first to put a claim in if the match had gone ahead today and they fell and got a life debilatating broken little finger.

I am going to have to cash in my tickets as I will be working in Skipton but I am going to drive back on the night to try to make it and buy another ticket

Oh yes.

It isn't about not believing Fred, but surely if the LSV is an all ticket venue, (for whatever the reason) then all the original tickets have to be refunded and fresh ones issued.
A stadium that can't take turnstile cash should have been rejected at the design stage; in my opinion of course.

I believe your inability to make it on Bank Holiday Monday was the deal-breaker that led to the game having to be re-arranged for January 5th.

If you could let the club, the LSV and all other relevant bodies know your availability for that date ASAP we would appreciate it.

Would have prefered a Sunday fixture, we had plans for a full day out, Young glow and me will still go but I doubt the others will now.
