| Tommy Goulden. The lad is amazing. And his reaction when he forced a drop out was great to see. He looked like he'd just scored the winning try!! Tommy and Taylor are the back bone of our team IMO and some of the tackles they put in last night (and every week) were brutal.

| hard to choose a MOM but i thought Mills was suburb last night and he played a lot of th game, i also thought Higson had a great game and made a few important 1 on 1 tackles but over all a fantastic team performance

| Quote ="glow"I have no problem with Taylor getting the MOM, he punched well above his weight as per usual.
But once again I would have struggled to pick an individual out, the thing which I'm really enjoying and impressed with this season is the 'team performances' we're putting in, we don't seem to have any individual stars. Just a team of workers, they all know what they and their team mates mean to one another and what they bring to the team. And its great to watch.
Keep up the good work lads.
'"
To be fair it's about time JT got MOM. One or two of the choices of late have been a bit mistifying eg Jamie Ellis probably had his worst game on Good Friday yet got MOM and I think there were more deserving candidates last Sundat than Evans. However, I agree that in most games it would be tough to single out an individual. I don't think I've seen Chris Hill put in a better 20 mins than he did in the first half last night and that's really saying something.

| Agree with all the above, but for me Stuart Littler had his best game for Leigh and would have been my MOM... just a shame he couldn't squeeze in for that try

| In regards to other players, I think Littler deserves a mention. The guy was a class above for me, you could just tell he was/is a Super League player.
Also Tommy Goulden. Wouldn't have looked out of place in the Catalans line up. He was everywhere. We are very lucky to have such a hard working (and occasionally try scoring!) back row.

| I just can't stop smiling at the moment just thinking about the teams performances. I agree that JT deserves a MOM as he has been over looked in previous weeks. And I will say it again, we have the best two second rowers in JT and TG in this league. Would like to mention Andy Thornley who is slowley but surely coming on and also had a good game when he came. Steve Nash didn't look out of place and was a handfull. Millsy and Hilly are nothing short of magnificant.

| Andy Thornley got through a ton of work last night and his best game for us by far, but it must have been hard to pick a MOTM

I'm sure there's at least one leyther per week that says 'I think Littler had his best game in a Leigh shirt today'!

Totally agree....... this lad had his best game so far IMO..... continue improving like he is and he could turn out to be the find of the season.

| Well my voicebox has just recovered from Friday, I had the difficult task of choosing MOM for Friday nights game as no one was present from Carnegie so the duty fell on the Match hosts. It was a real honour and as pointed out it could have gone to any one of the lads.
Having chosen JT with 10 minutes left to play typically he was taken off and a few other players stepped up making me doubt the decision....Notably TG doing another full 80 stint and it was great to see Duffy making such an impact on his return......All I can say is that the boys I am sure will be going into the next game feeling like they can beat anyone in front of them!
Well done!!

The thread wasn’t a criticism of your choice I was simply trying to say, how difficult a task it is when we are playing so good as a team.
And to be honest sometimes in the past when MOM is announced people often laugh and say “Who picked him, his Mother?” but this season no one seems to knock the choice, more of ‘Well yeah he’s played great, but so as such and such, and him and what about him’.
Anyway nice to have you on the message board, well done and welcome.

| My vote would go to big Dave Mills, the man is an absolute monster and he put one hell of a shift in on Friday night I think he only went off for 5 minute spells and he worked none stop. Also, one of the highlights for me was his first run of the game where he ran over Ferriol.
Tommy Goulden and Stu Littler also deserve special praise for their commitmnet and efforts they put in.
Having said that, the whole team were fantastic on Friday and have been all season and every single one of them can be proud of themselves at the moment. Keep up the good work lads!!
