| Need Riddy back for middle 8s, Mickey, Gas, all troops fit and raring to preserve our SL status. Simple as. Hopefully Riddy better and fitter for his Giiants experience perhaps he needed this for his development. No one has claimed the 6 spot permanently as yet this campaign.

Spot on Cokey.
As for Ridy I feel really sorry for him. It looks like the loan to Huddersfield has done wonders for him and his confidence and he really seems to fit in there, however, there's no way Leigh are going to allow him to play in the 8's for them so he's going to end up on the benches at Leigh as they obviously rate the others above him.

Well ATEOTD we'll never know, looks like we're bringing a 6 from Aus so even less chance of him getting a gig with us now
Always be a hero at Leigh - hope it doesn't all end with a bitter taste from either side, suppose it shows you've got to be ruthless at this level

No room for sentiment in professional sport,Riddy has been a very good servant to the Club , but for me players like Tonga should have been released a while back , maybe now we know Weston is leaving ,he could be released early to make room for 2 imports, I don't think Vea or Green will stay much longer at the Club, and nobody will ever convince me McNally is a SL player, watch his reactions in defence for Gildart try, and Burgess last try against Wigan,a Point Duty Officer springs to mind.
For me , I would have Riddy back in a heartbeat, but if Jukesy says no,then it's his decision we stand by,if we sign Mortimer and Langi it will be very interesting to see how they fit in .

| Will be interesting Charlie. Most Aussies I've spoken too have Mortimer down as a 9 not a 6. Sharks took him on board as a replacement for Ennis when he retired.

Must admit from the clips I have seen he strikes me as more of a 9 - but he does appear to have agood short kicking game
Interesting times ahead

Nobody? People on here have said many times Ridyard wasn't Super League class! We have seen Brierley and Ellis both get signed up by SL clubs when infact, it was by playing along side Riddy that they came to the fore and, I said at the time, the SL teams had signed the wrong players if they wanted a play maker Josh Drinkwater has not been as prominent without Riddy although, he is now becoming more influential
Gregg McNally is class, the way he runs and the way he gets his passes away he is also safe at catching the ball ! He was fullback when we beat Hull and Wigan recently, both, the Major trophy winners last season in SL! The speed he receives and releases his passes to our Wingers is exceptional! Gregg is getting stronger with every game and becoming more confident too! don't forget he has suffered two really serious injuries in the last two seasons and I for one am glad to see him back. He may not be as strong in the tackle or returning the ball as Mitch Brown however, his overall game is better than Mitch's. If I was a Coach at Leigh, Gregg would have had a run Stand Off before now with the class he possesses

Kirk, all can say is if Greg is not injured then Jukesy agrees with me,because he isn't in the Squad for the Widnes game, his defence is very poor, as I said look at at Gildart try and the second try of Burgess, players run at him every time, next season with the guys we are apparently signing Greg chances will be even more less,as for Riddy ?I'm a Riddy fan but again what will happen next season is anybody guess, I think we will survive this season, but it's no use just marking time we must compete and to do this we must move forward and Derek and Jukesy make a couple of unpopular decisions, in them we trust.

| I'm chuffed for Ridy as I know he's really enjoying his time at Huddersfield. I did fear that the club would pull him back or send him to a Champ club or leave him sitting on the sidelines but good on them for letting the lad stay there. He deserves it after his loyalty to Leigh over the years.

| The only problem i can see for Riddy at Hudds, is that he will be a squad player again when they get their fit players back and when their Aussie half back lands next week.

we have lost mamo and turner for 4-6 weekns so rankin may have to play full back when he gets here.
happy for ridyard to stay, fitted in well, he can kick valuable goals too something which brough struggles to do now.

| Well. All this shows I know nowt about rugby, because as far as I'm concerned Ridyard is a better standoff than Hampshire. Conversely I think Hampshire could be our best winger...
Also, I thought Ben Reynolds did enough against Wigan to keep his place in the side.
Clearly, I am an idiot.

Must admit, you could definitely have done with Ridyard tonight.
Why change a team that put 50 past Wigan?
