So where does that leave Wakefield ?
The idea of selling up might suddenly seem like the best/only option *to the board* [i'NOT'[/i to Wakey fans though.

On the flip side, Clubs like Leigh who have been previously frozen out could now find themselves on the inside with plenty of protection via £££££ from ever dropping out of SL, or at least for some considerable time.

Then you have Toronto who could quite possibly have the greatest budget on [i'Planet Rugby League'[/i !!!

Would they/could they buy in via a sale of Wakefield Trinity's spot in SL ?

Of course I/we don't have the answers, just putting the ideas out there but again, yes, closed shop once more it could be.

Wakefield don't need to sell to refinance - they're financially stable and are the only club to be in the black without a sugar daddy acting as a financial backer (many clubs still run into the red even with their sugar daddy). What they do need is about £10m to build a new stadium and they won't make that kind of money selling their licence to another backer.

What's makes you think we are on the right side of the fence - not exactly a big club at this level, and I would be imagine our books are showing significant debts, certainly not a profit

The best news was the tweet from Sir Derek of Beaumont which basically said he/the Club would press ahead towards Academy status.

I can only guess that Wakefield Trinity, Catalans & Cas are 3 of the against voters.
