I would play Mitch Brown at full back , and Rocky Hampshire at 6 if Riddy is not fit, when Hampshire moved to 6 last Sunday he looked very good the same as he did against us for Wigan the year before, I think he and Drinky could work well together.Charlie's Opinion.

Better players than Cory Patterson have tried and failed to deal with Rangi Chase when he is on form.

I agree with that. Theres no stopping chase when hes bang on form. When you play against him just hope its not one of those days were he turns up. Just a pity we never got to see that side of him in a leigh shirt

His pre-season tests show he is fitter at the start of 2017 than he was at the beginning if any other season when he was at Cas. He's been working with Cas' conditioning team every day throughout the winter. He's had no break between the end of last season and the start of this season so he is in top condition.
He would be a good tip for MoS.

what we can be sure of is that we have a quality squad Jukesy and his team have prepared them brilliantly for the season ahead. He has said repeatedly that they can go into any game with confidence, but no doubt the coaching staff will have identified a number of must win games during the season.

Cas away is huge ask but as others have said, better to play them now than later in the season when no doubt they will be up there with the best. What will be the number of injuries (hopefully few and far between) as the squad is not the biggest and the tremendous support the fans give the team. We have seen both sides of that in the warm up games, the lads will need that support for 100% of the season, win lose or draw

Brough is better than Chase, did we lose sleep over him?? We wont win games worried about stopping opposition players, we will do our homework and have a plan to attack their weaknesses. Cas is a very tough opener away from home, lets compete well and enjoy, the rest will follow

Rangi was a great player, he hasn't been a great player for a few years now, he may well be a great player again - who knows. Think we have a Glenn Stewart playing on our right edge, don't think he will be losing too much sleep over Mr Chase. Keep our defensive shape and what will be will be, but we wont have a chance if we worry about them and lose track of what we can do, and Ridyard/Drinkwater can take defenses apart when they release late

Perhaps we have one or two who can't wait to get their hands on Rangi? I'm sure he will be very wary of some of his former 'mates'!

Its a difficult game as all are in this league but they are also winnable, let's play the Leigh way and give chase and co something to worry about rather than the other way round.

Rangi will be playing at 6 servicing our Right edge. He looks fit as a fiddle and ready to rip in also it seems he is well and truley settled back in at Cas (club where he wants to finish his career). Be afraid be very afraid.
