Quote ="Zaphod_B"Seems odd that positive tests are normally reported within fourteen days and negative tests can take four to six weeks to report. If the tests are completed for a positive test within fourteen days, by inference, a negative test could be reported at the same time. Unless there are further tests that are carried out that may show up a positive result, don't understand the reasons for the difference in reporting.'"
I'd imagine its that all parties would want to know right away if the test proved positive whereas the tests that have shown to be negatives are of less urgency so probably get stuck in the paper trail.
Either way well done to the club to reacting quickly to this and protecting the brand whilst reassuring fans at the same time.
