I know what you're saying Snowy but I think this game will follow the patern of several games so far. a very close and hard fought first half, but a win for the good guys as we wear down Sheff in the second half.

Sheffield also don't seem to be finding Owlerton to their liking:-

Sundays game is so important , Owlerton is not that bad , granted the pitch isn't up to much , but there is plenty of Parking , though it is hard to get away from , and the Panoramic views from the bar are very good .I think experience is the order of the Day for this game , so with the injuries in mind , my team would be .

This is just my opinion , no doubt the Salfordlad will tell us what HE has decided to be the 17 who will play will be , even if we win on Sunday I think we will still lose a game or 2 somewhere along the line this season .

Don't think he's been a prolific scorer but got MOTM in League Express a couple of weeks ago and Kear sounds happy enough with him.

I have not seen Sheffield play this season but their recent results indicate they are not as strong as last season so I am confident we will make it a record breaking 15th consecutive win.

PR will surely address our left wing defence.

It isn't necessarily the wing that is the problem, it's the forwards on that side not sliding across quick enough which leaves Kay/Armstrong exposed.

The onus is on the left second row forward to be first across to help his backs.

Your Forwards wont have a problem the Pitch is awful, narrow & short never mind what CC says about the view, at ground level it is terrible

Mick , believe me Charlie knows , I have a friend who attends the Speedway at Owlerton , he has told me the pitch is in bad condition long grass , but the parking is good , and the view is especially from the sides ,very few watch from ground level , my first visit there was when Billy Benyon was our Coach , they knocked us out of the Challenge Cup .

Whilst I do not disagree if you watch the replay Armstrong is the only player you can see on the left hand side for the Dons second try. Sarsfield and Kay where near the posts.

Fwiw I would use Goulden to assist on the left wing instead of Sarsfield and I would make sure Armstrong and Kay stayed in position.

Dons made a couple of breaks from deep in the first half and surprisingly they where on the right wing and the missed tackler is one of my favourite players.

Now if I can spot it I am sure PR can.

Distance Leigh to Sheffield is about 60 miles so if coaches leave at 11am they should arrive before 1pm.
