To be fair Ive spoke to Phil over the weekend and hes nothing to tell anyone, as yet. He said before all this he'd come to the next LISA meeting and still will.

TBH, I don't see any rudeness in this particular thread - some blunt straight talking perhaps. No-one's parentage has been questioned, no death threats have been issued etc. etc...its just part and parcel of messageboard to and fro. To prove my good nature, I will buy a pint for anyone who wants to come and visit me.

No people need to stop asking stupid bloody questions with no clear reason for asking them , who the bloody directors are is not a state secret , WHY exactly did our Swinton fan want to know ? , has he explained his request ? , so its OK for him to ask , but not for me to ask him WHY ?

9 out of 10 threads you answer awkwardly or sarcastically! if it was the first time you had then fair enough! Maybe if you stopped this then more people would be willing to help

It was just another stupid question with no reason or explanation as to why he wanted to know ? , I notice he has now left us , did he thank somebody for providing him with an answer ?

All I did was ask him why he wanted to know ? , is that unreasonable ?

I asked the same question today so I could update the staff list in the programme if necessary. There is an updated list over on the official site.

But are they really "concerned" Paul? Are they concerned enough to be sick to their stomach, have trouble sleeping and spend hours a day on this very messageboard? If they are, lets hear their suggestions and even better lets have their cold hard cash whilst we are it. Heck, even best wishes would be nice....I would settle for that.

I am with Starbug on this one, although he has probably across a number of threads been a bit too forthright in his assessments of these people, as he might admit in the cold light of day!

thought this was a friendly site where you could ask questions without being quizzed or judged maybe I was wrong. The question was asked out of curiousity and nothing more no hidden agenda or anything suspicious

Seriously you are more than welcome to stay a while - why don't you introduce yourself and make a contribution of some sort.

The problem with messageboards is that people forget that they really operate a bit like mates in a pub. Imagine if you walked into a pub you have never been in, found a group of lads and with no introduction ask them a question about the length if the Great Wall of China or suchlike - see what reaction you get. Why people think they can do this in this kind of t'internet context beats me, unless they are deliberately trying to wind someone up...

That said, whose round is it next then?
