I've been speaking to Mr 'Centurian' this morning





Anyway he's said that the pub should have been painted red and white this morning but the rain stopped play and as soon as there's a clear day it will be done.

He also said that lobby will be served on match days, courtesy of Rowlands Steak House and it will be free to everyone for the first month.



There are 3 x 40" TV's being installed and rugby will always take precedent over any other sport.



On match days Ian Millward will come along to 'The Centurion' and will present the Man of the Match with his award of a free meal for two at Rowlands Steak House.



I'm sorry I didn't ask about real ale, but I'll text him.

we will give it a try matey, and we will drag FrankB with us kicking and screaming.

As if you are heading out of Leigh over the canal bridge (leigh bridge) and its the first on the right.

Just had a phone call from Dave to ask me to remind you all that there will be free lobby for everyone in The Centurion tomorrow and that after the game the pub will be officially opened by Ian Millward and Alex Murphy OBE.

Sounds like it,ll be worth a visit.

The only thing I hate about living where I do. I miss having a drink before and after the game. My new years resolution is that from now on, when I am not working on mondays I am going to try and make a day of the home games and stay in Leigh.
