I'm pleased for Fev, traditional RL club doing well and hopefully... well they look like challenging for and winning the league, I am enjoying this competition this season and i'm looking forward to playing them again at Post Office Rd and hopefully later on down the line in a play off or even the grand final.

Sack SL, lets enjoy a competitive Championship with competitive traditional RL clubs doing well.

I pulled back from the 'abolition of P&R' debate months ago. There are those who believe it is the right thing to do, then there are those of us who don't. Neither views are likely to ever be changed by the by now tiresome debate.
For now I have absolutely zero interst in SL and I have never yet watched a SL game, Incl the GFs!
Ours is a cracking competition and I'm thoroughly enjoying this years comp as I did last and will do whatever I can to big up the comp and encourage people to give the league a go at their local club wherever they are from!

Regrettably, I even said that the year we went down!!!

err... one team at least will come down. The RFL are committed to promoting at least one team and NOT extending SL beyond the current number of team = 1 down!!!

The only other debate is whether they will risk promoting Toulouse this early and relegate two current SL licences at this point?? Either way - Wakey will be playing fev in a league fixture again in a couple of years time!!

It would be just like the RFL to put Toulouse in...a club that is in competition with a RU club that gets ten times the attendances of the RL team

Just for the sake of this protracted discussion, who do you think will be relegated, bearing in mind that sl have pledged in promote a club and not increase sl numbers?

Ignoring some of your previous 'numpty' comments I am happy to have a serious adult discussion with you.

I haven't actually said we wont be relegated, but to say we are certs is a little over confident of you.
It is probably between ourselves, Cas and Salford however.

We are all in a similar position re: stadiums but we do have the edge in final table placings featuring in the last few years plays offs and we havent been lower than 9th in SL since May 2008. Our Academy won the title last year. Regarding attendances Cas are better than ourselves but we are far stronger than Salford for attendances.

As I say Im not cocky about our chances, not at all but I feel your tagging us as certs (over Cas and Salford) is rather one eyed owd cock!

Ok, sustantiating any of my comments on here is difficult given how I came to some of the info. So, take my comments with a barrow full of salt should you wish. You don't know me and as such have no clue as to my sincerity or "genuineness" or as to the validity of my comments!

1. Wakey's finances? - Again, info I have is that it's allegedly very shakey indeed. I add allegedley here. It may be rock solid, but that's not the info I'm getting and this is very reliable - to me at least.

2.The ground - by far the worst of the 3. It's terrible and I'm doubting any possibility of any new one in the short/medium future.

3.The playing record speaks for itself but again I'm led to believe that carries less of a weighting in the decision process than other considerations.

4.Previous info given to me (not by the bloke down the pub either) suggests Wakey are the favourites to have their licence revoked - leaving me to make the prediction with a fair bit of confidence - to within almost certainty!

Not one eyed at all. Just an honest assessment based on info - genuinely, and I'm aware that I haven't validated many of my comments, particularly number 4 which is the most convincing by far, and as such opens me up to further criticism. The only reposte I can give then is to state, "we'll see"!

As Tony Blair said in the inquiry on the Gulf War - "decisions were based on the information presented at the time"!

As you would prefer Cas to go down over Wakey I shall retract the 'one eyed' comment then!



As you say its all conjecture, and yes we shall see. Interesting times ahead I suppose.
All I shall say is I hope its Leigh that come up, I doubt it will be but that would be my (totally unbiased!)
choice.

The sensible thing is for Fev, Cas, and Wakey to merge.
