By the way thanks to all for buying the DVD, ive had an idea (yes that is what the funny smell was) at a forthcoming LISA meeting what if I ask 'Basil' if he could give us an insight into how he prepared the players for the game and how he ran through the DVD and stats with the players at their video session, it may give us an insight into what a coach sees and is looking for during a game and his preperation.
It may be a bit better than the usual questions to the coach, sorry ive not run it past you first Lynda but the thought just struck me, any comments anyone?

It just may boost the attendance (we may get a few club coaches from the Championship coming along in disguise

) and get the chance of a few new members.

I have to say the commentary on the DVD's is very good and the pictures aren't bad either. Keep up the good work, A+.

they will be a lot better when Bluray discs and players get va LOT cheaper ive HD a camera awaiting in the wings ready

Plans are already in place for Basil and Gary to be doing these type of sessions for the Amateur clubs coaches, can't see it being to much of an issue to repeat it for LISA.

Got my copy from the club ticket office just after lunch and it's fantastic quality.

Just got to half time now... what a try Jacob Emmitt's was, talk about strength and power he was just what we needed in the forwards

bought my copy today and just watched it.

Just watched the DVD and Fred you were right it was a pleasure to watch. As Dave P said in his commentary nobody stood out as a MOM but overall what a totally professional performance and IMO there`s more to come.

the person commentating with dave parky really knows what he is going on about on the dvd and he should be replacing some of the prats on sky lol

How long do you think it would take to make the move to bluray? Will be getting my copy on monday if lsv ticket office will sell me one.

Can't see me doing it until blue ray equipment get a lot cheaper, I have enough trouble selling DVD at a fiver gawd knows how much id have to charge for Blue-ray, I think it will be a while yet.
The ticket office wont sell you one on Monday Greg as they wont have any as they will be too busy to sell them the only place to get one is off me at home, as I doubt whether the stewards will allow you to get to the gantry.

Ok no problem, Can they be posted if I pay the extra cost as I live in Warrington :/ Or if the shop is open on Monday I could do that.
Would people not be prepared to pay more if its on bluray though I know I would?

you virtually pass my door as I live a mile from the LSV and only half a mile from the by-pass junction with StHelens rd (Fire station),
there is no shop now at the LSV,
and no people dont like paying £5 now, and at the moment with the price of media at around £3 a disc a blu ray recorder non pc based at around £470 the cost to the 'customer' would be around £15 at the usual rate that I sell them at (normal games I have 3 regular customers I have never had more than 10 regulars) the Fax game has been very well recieved, but lose a couple of games and the 'customers' go also

make sure you buy this weeks dvd to hear the legendery voice of derek disley aswell as the ever present dave parky with there views on the game against batley bulldogs, even if its just to show a person that hasnt been watching leigh for a while to see what they have been missing.

I finally managed to get down for a copy yesterday, great performance all round with no stand out players, just what we need a committed team, a team known for throwing it around struggled against our excellent defence. Well done to the lads.



The dvd quality and commentary were excellent as well, well done to Fred and his team

The thing with Blue ray though is you cant play um on a normal DVD player but you can play normal ones on a Blue ray player so for those of us that have'nt got the latest wont be able to buy them.
