All these bods work extremely hard to make the LSV experience what it is.

That would depend on Centurions' 'gates', as they pay the LSV a percentage of the 'gate'. So, for example, LSV would be 'quids in' on the last couple of 3,500+ 'gates', compared with some of last season's attendances of half that many. Do Rovers pay a fixed fee, or do they too pay a percentage of the 'gate'?

Council run , non profit making organisations are notoriously overstaffed and badly run , they wouldn't last 2 minutes in the real world

One of the turnstyles did not work at the gate I was at when we played Warrington. Here is another question which LSV employee is responsible for that ?

I am not being flippant the questions I have asked I would like to know the answers. Oh and one more when Glow asked asked on another thread why the stub on a ticket is torn off why do you get the rest of the ticket back ? What is the point of that ?

People might keep them? I've got the ticket from our promotion winning game stuck on my wardrobe along with a ticket from an England v Australia game.

LSV should be saying “How can we improve the efficiency of getting people into the Stadium?”

A very simple breakdown of the LSV way, each activity given 2 seconds.

1. Hand ticket to lady
2. Lady turns ticket round so stubs are on right side to tear off
3. Lady checks ticket
4. Lady tears off stubs
5. Lady puts stubs on one side
6. Lady hands ticket back to supporter
7. Lady presses button to open turnstile
8. Supporter fumbles about/what should I do with ticket
9. Supporter goes through turnstile

9 activities x 2 seconds = 18 seconds to get in the ground, not to bad that is it?
So that’s 18 sec x 800 supporters = 14,400 seconds/ 240 minutes/4 hrs

It takes LSV 4 hrs to get every 800 people into the Stadium.

Now if they did it my way (sure there's a song in that)…….

5 activities x 2 sec = 10 seconds x 800 = 8,000 seconds/133.33 minutes/2.22hrs

Glows way 2 hrs 13 minutes to get 800 people into the stadium.

Having an all ticket stadium is more efficient than having cash, giving change etc but in effect by giving you the stub back it’s just like giving you change.

The problem with that is if for any reason you have to evacuate the part of the stadium you are in and then need to re-enter the stadium you have no proof that you have already been inside.

As soon as I get inside I throw it in the bin, so I've not got any proof anyway, plus if there was an evacuation at LSV it would be about three years before H&S would let us back in.

I'll have my season ticket for the next match anyway so none of this stub stuff anyway just the lady going beep, beep.

From the 'fees' paid and influence on the LSV, you might well swap the top two there.

I always keep my ticket stubs for no reason other than I always have done, but they come in handy for any abandoned game etc.

As for Sale, they do own Edgeley Park but there isn't much scope for ground improvements and the pitch is a mess. Would probably make a fair bit of coin if they sold the place, and would certainly go straight to the top of the LSV wish list, I'd imagine.
