I am on a mini bus and we leave Leigh 11am. There are some good real ale pubs near Keighley Railway Station.


We have our strongest squad available for selection so am looking forward to an entertaining afternoon.

Hoping to be in, with pre match potentially spent on the Keighley steam railway!

Word of advice for anyone who's making an early departure that Blackburn are at home to Burnley (12:30 kick off) so the M65 will be busy.

Is that the quickest way?

It is in my experience rather than going down the M66 and buggering about round Rawtenstall. Once did the Hedben Bridge route. Never again.

Well I don't drive but if I did I would drive down to Halifax then on to Keighley.

I attended a Keighley v Fax game a couple of seasons ago and that day the Fax fans had done a sponsored walk to Keighley.

That's the route I mentioned above. Felt like it took an age although it's actually the shortest route.

Defo m65 to clone then straight across to keighley is the quickest way even though can be a bit of traffic in clone. A few nice pubs ( real ale ) esp the old white bear in cross hills on way across also.

Still one seat available if anyone's seeN the lovely spring sunshine and fancies watching us hit 52 once more !!!!

As I said earlier in the thread just be wary of the Dingle Derby depending on departure time.

Perfect weather today for rugby my prediction is 42-10 MOM Barlow but expecting a good performance from 1-17. Cougars will be having kittens when we turn up "COME ON LEYTHERS"

I thought we would win at a canter tbh but lets hope the lads performance today serves as a wake up call.
