Radlinski can say anything he wants. It doesn't mean its a binding contract. I only see benefits for Wigan. I see Wigan playing a couple of SL games at the LSV to get the young support in this area. I see Leigh becoming the official feeder club a few years down the line.

I despair of some folk. I truly understand fans' concerns.

They demand information and when they get it they say it's lies, and 'read between the lines'! I'm coming to the conclusion that information and facts are dangerous. Maybe it's far better that supporters just make up their own information - that's what many on here do anyway.

I too would have to see that one in action, yet have you seen the calculations? Ask Ian Leneghan why he needs 10,000. Ask Marwan Koukash why Salford needed 9,000, before his arrival. Ask about the rents both those clubs are paying. Ask LSV how much we are paying.

I don't see any concerns with this agreement and don't see it being much different to what's been happening over the last couple of seasons.

We are LEIGH CENTURIONS of LEIGH our own town with our own team with our own stadium and own history and standing within the game of RL.

We are at this current time operating on sub 1500 crowds outside of the top tear of RL with no promotion or relegation and in reality are fourth in line if any PR were reinstated both on and off the pitch

This agreement is more about the benifits of the whole borough and development of youth and giving young people a clearly defined pathway weather that be at elite level with Wigan or just below with Leigh.

There will be a clear route for players in the community and the borough produces enough quality players to service two professional clubs and two super league clubs hopefully one day. This agreement may for example stop the next Rob Parker being lost to Bradford for example if he comes through the Leigh amateur game and joins Bradford what benifit to Leigh do we see from our community clubs efforts to develope quality youth.

This system gives us access to a higher calibre of player Tom Sencer for example has come to Leigh and has now got Leigh in his heart and will bust a gut for Leigh Centurions. We also get the likes of Thornley who has not made the grade at Wigan but is more than good enough to add value to us and still has time on his side to play SL later down the line.

Drop the old school we hate Wigan mentality and look at the big picture is my advice.

Final thought we need to get our heads out of the sand when we do make it to SL we wont be in direct comp with Wigan hey are an RL giant and elite level club wenneed to model ourselves on and learn from while keeping our SL ambition and developing a club and suport base. What good is the next Tommy Martyn to Leigh if he joins Oldham and subsequently St Helen's? If he's kept in the community and goes on to rule the world with Wigan and we see his early years and benifit from his full time elite professional coaching knowledgehe will have find memories of his home town club and want to come back.

I am not having a go at anyone here i am just really curious, How many people on this thread actually go watching Leigh at this present time ( not used to ) every game either Home games or home/Away games ??? If you don't for whatever reason ( and I know some are very good reasons ) of which I suspect there are a good few of you I don't understand why you feel the need to bad mouth decisions ( good or bad ones ) as it really does not effect you one way or the other because you have all ready given up on the Leigh Centurions anyway !!

The main thing stopping the club going forward in my opinion. From what I can see is the amount of share holders (not active directors) holding on to shares which are effectively worth nothing and strangling the club and chances of ever moving on and attracting new investors or even a supporters share trust.

Well JC hasn't been a regular this season even before this announcement. When he did come he always went in the North Stand and paid £16 not the £18 he seems to think it is now.

The emphasis as I see it is on the big picture and the RL community as a whole you are looking at this from a Leigh centurions perspective only.

It will benifit Wigan of course but also but also Leigh in many ways but it's not the be all and end all of agreement that was my point.
