A very well done to the club for at last moving in the transparency direction and LISA for raising such a great amount so soon in the season.

I am against the board position but its not my choice - I will be rejoining LISA as a result but will not be attending meetings etc.

Control silly costs and maximise income is the only way forward - having financial transparency by right allows the shocks to be managed proactively.

'The Books' can only be seen at the board meeting/s they are discussed at, that is written in the articles of the club directorship apparently.

I understand that a shareholder has legal rights that provide annual accounts at least, but I am sure Toadstool will confirm the position.

I don't know what percentage the LISA shareholding represents as there are additional rights as this increases but the basic rights of every shareholder include -

The right to ask the court to call a General Meeting - CA 2006, s 306

The right not to be unfairly prejudiced - CA 2006, s 994

The right to have the company wound up provided that it is just and equitable to do so

The right to vote - CA 2006, s 284

The right to receive notice of general meetings - CA 2006, s 310

Probably because for someone who is proably about to take LISA place on the board it has gone right over her head - perfect for the rest of the board. Not knocking DJ by the way, but its clear for all her very hard efforts she doesn't have the business accumen to make an impact in that position - and no doubt she will be first to agree. And no, I couldn't give the role the time, effort and brains it requires either

I believe ColD to be absolutely correct in his assessment, ambition outstripping ability

The current board are transparent with the fans on all matters

It was an impulsive gesture by them to offer the position when we were in a time of crisis, the correct response for an independent group of fans would have been to decline but egos are difficult to control for some

The first question for LISA members should have been whether we wanted a representative on the Board, the answer I believe would have been no . You only have to look at how many put themselves forward for as an indicator

I am actually in my day job a managing director of our business.

I've worked in this area of work for many years.

I was joking before as Toadstool had put it in the correct terms and the whole works.

I run a full accounts system and payroll system myself.

This on here is just a bit of fun and bears no reflection on my real life and what I do for a living .............

I still stand by view given at the LISA meeting last Wednesday when I said we should remain purely fund raising supporters of our club.

When a LISA member explains to me how joining/listening in on the board meetings will benefit the club' depending on the explanation' I might change my view

From a personal point of view I know I could not bring anything new to the table and feel clarity on how the club is run is already dealt with at what have become regular fan forums at the LSV.

Lets maintain the status quo and save everyone time and trouble.

LISA members/fans have been hoodwinked for years, for many of those it has had a rep on the board. Now it needs the shareholding but not the rep imo. Those who think all is now rosey will be the same ones who thought the same before every other time we went poop, this is a great opportunity to play to our strengths and take our club forward on a wave of transparency as a united community club.

These days i have afew residences , they being Ribby Hall by the Lake ,Fleetwood where i go afew times a year , Salford

when i have nowhere to go



, but my main residence is Leigh , at Butts Bridge .

Though i do try to spend as much time as possible in the Promised Land , but it is very noisy , i need rest and Water Therapy these days , as well as my medication .
