Our relationship with the LSV is brilliant, and this will create huge improvements going forward for the benefit of all
I see the process of create the platform, identify opportunities, create products to maximise the potential of those opportunities and sell the benefits to our current and prospective stakeholders, motivating them to be an active part of what will be an exciting journey
The platform is almost complete and I can't wait for the journey to begin but trust us to get the foundations right because we want something that lasts

I'd much prefer no linkup however needs must and the club needs money to survive. So I choose to support the club and not try and bully those in charge. JIC says good luck in the final.......empty words in my opinion.

It costs our club a lot of gate money just to play at the LSV and we get nothing from bar or food sales.

The way to get only contracted Leigh players every week is to support your club and if you won't be at the NRC Final a week Saturday you can't imo care about the club that much.

Do you want our club to play only contracted Leythers ? Well I think most of us who still go do too but unless we get decent home attendances how is that going to happen ?

Agreed. I can't make evening matches but that's my problem. At least though if it were announced that all our home games would be played on the same day and the same time, regardless of whther it is Friday evening, Sunday afternoon or Wednesday morning, everyone would know whether they could get there and whther it is worth buying aseason ticket.

On that question of when, those who prefer Friday or Sunday, how do you feel about Saturday 7pm?
Keeps Sundays free for families, makes it easier for groups to arrange socially, no work/ school next day, poor SL game on the sat and none in mid summer to compete with, soccer fans could make it back in time, is it a good corporate time?

The problem is everyone wants what’s best for themselves, me I like it as it is Sunday afternoon, that allows me to watch SL Friday evening, go to the football on Saturday afternoon, I could probably if I tried be back in time for a 7pm KO, but I usually take Mrs glow out Saturday night, I know I could take her with me but until ‘the experience’ is better she’ll not want to go.

But the BOM are running a business, so need to make some hard business decisions, and pick whatever they feel is best for the club overall, and which ever they choose stick with it, we may lose some , for work or other reasons but so long as the business prospers then the decisions the right one.

Don't care when we play. If I can make it I will if I can't I won't. I may buy a season ticket I may not. Next season will probably subscribe to CTV, at the moment I have a lot of expense.

I'd go for 5.30 on a Saturday. Plenty of time after for a night out or whatever. Remember a night out for us old uns usually starts around 8.00 and finishes at 10.30.

Can,t see the problem in dropping the twining if as frank says they only play one lad,well either get him on a season loan or rip up the twinning if we don't need it? as we only play one lad

If 1400/1800 people agree to buy season tickets for next season and we can guarantee an average of around 2.2/2.5k minimum next season then I will personally rip up any DR/ Partnership agreement (if there actually is one) and do it on the town hall steps.

The BOM are willing to bankroll and manage the process to take us to SL the RFL and LSV believe in the calibre of our management team but we need fans to back us now simple as that mate.

Fact is the BOMs circa 100k per season investment will cover attendance shortfalls and not signings unless the people of Leigh back us.

We are not "twinned" with anyone. I believe you know that, but choose that term in an attempt to garner support for your opinion. That is exactly the kind of misrepresented information that will continue to hurt our club.

We have had no money to sign players when we got injuries earlier in the season, Paul had already banked on having a couple of duals before the "new" changes came into force. So we had a relatively small squad, however it was all we could afford, and its been proven we couldn't really even afford that! So Paul had to use some duals from Wigan whether he liked it or not, or risk playing young lads who weren't ready.
If he had done this and we were down in a relegation fight what would everyone had said then?

Simple sign up to LISA, Touchdown and buy a season ticket. If enough do it we wont need duals next year.

Don't waste your time on them Lynda they are either too thick,or too bloody minded to see the truth even when it batters them on the forehead, no one likes it (dual contracts with wigan warington or bloody Timbuktu) but it is unfortunately a fact of life, they will say next that they are supporters well I don't see any signs of it.

Why do soooooo many people get their knickers in a twist about Dual Reg players??????, as long as i can remember we, sorry, all teams have loan players but had no control over who when and for how long . Now if i understand it correctly we actually engage with both DC player/s and club, especially with the the club that the DCs come from and if we are "sharp enough" we use Their resorces to our advantage until we grow enough in stature and support to be the ones loaning players out on DCs. Like a few others on here i can't understand how you can "love your club" but then go and deprive it of much needed financial and vocal support. More support = less need for help from other clubs fecking simple to my sunburnt mind.

Ive stated before we can't worry about the dummy spitters we have a buisness to run. You can see our ambition and what we want to do with the club and I've said if the fans back us we can then scrap DRs! We can't put a cart before the horse though.

Read my lips, by staying away sulking you and others are damaging the team you claim to support.

I have been supporting Leigh since 1956.

Over the years since then our Board of Directors whoever they were made some decisions I was not happy with. Some I was.

I stayed loyal and have seen this club on its's ar*se and have seen them win the Challenge Cup and every other trophy except the Superleague Grand Final.

There are so many former fans out there who have stopped watching our team because they did not agree with this or that.

Why do they still ask me for the score after a match ? Politeness I suppose as I always wear our team colours.

Licenscing has costs us far more than anything else I think. It isn't DC players it is the fact that unless we have the chance' however remote' to be in a Challenge Cup Final or to get to the top league folk think every game is a friendly unless it is an NRC Final or a surprise appearance in the quarter final of the Challenge Cup.

Now if they all had stayed loyal I wouldn't be posting this because we would already be in the top league and we would not need to be using any player not contracted to Leigh RLFC.

One other thing Tom Spencer gives his best every time he turns out for us and those of us who go to games know that and thank him for it.
